I’ve ordered from All Stars twice via Grubhub. The first time was last year August, we ordered the fried shrimp meal, shrimp loaded fries, and the beef burger with bacon and fries. That time the shrimp were all bad you could immediately taste the rancidness, the burger was extremely bloody, and the burger and fries had some nasty oil on them. We threw away our food that time. Today decided to give them another shot. Ordered the pork chop and two sides meal (Mac n cheese and greens) and then added on a 3rd side (sweet potatoes). First we didn’t receive the sweet potatoes, which luckily GH refunded right away, then once again they gave us bad meat. The pork chop was extremely bad, I don’t know how they are storing meats, but it can’t be up to health code. This is almost a year later and I’m having the same experience, that pork chop had to have been sitting at room temp for over a week. The mac n cheese and greens definitely weren’t fresh, but when you use a microwave to reheat food, it gives your food a certain taste and texture, those were both very disgusting. Although there was none, It should never be cover charge to go in here. I was only here for a moral support celebration for an associate. I try to support so called black owned businesses yet here in Indy they manage to come up short most of the time. Although the servers were very kind I don’t like to be forced to tip when paying electronically. Especially after I get my food and it’s mid. The catfish filets wasn’t catfish (swai) yet it was seasoned well. I’ve encountered this phenomenon ONLY in Indianapolis cuz clearly people here aren’t familiar with what real catfish looks like or the texture of it so most places sell you anything and call it catfish filets. The loaded grilled shrimp fries was dry af cuz the fries were old. I should’ve known the fried mushrooms weren’t gonna meet my expectations for 4$. Breaded frozen slime. Bbq sauce mixed with whatever as the dipping sauce for the onion chips…no thought was put into that. Hope it doesn’t already come prepared cuz no. Black Greek organization hosted Monday night football so my friend thought it would be fun to get out and support. Bad idea. The lady at the bar was rude when I walked up and wanted to order, I guess because I was interrupting the conversation with her friend she just stared like I was bothering her and then directed me to go back to my seat to order. The night only got worse. They were out of practically everything from drink ingredients to food menu items to condiments. Which was interesting because there was hardly anyone here! No ranch for the fried mushrooms, marinara sauce for the cheese sticks upon request only, I guess. No bitters for the drink that's advertised on the menu. I doubt this establishment lasts but just in case.......
