WORST sandwiches ever!!!! I had not had Penn Station in years so I decided to take my kids there so they can try them. I ordered them online and got a specific time to pick up. Got there in time but still had to wait almost 20 minutes past the set time. Not the best customer service, I get they are busy but still could have taken a few seconds to let me know it would take longer and I would be fine with it. Finally got them and went home to eat, and the first disappointment was the look of them. They looked more like stuffed breadsticks rather than a sandwich. I thought maybe with the prices of food, maybe they had to cut back in the amount of ingredients they put into a sandwich. I thought maybe the flavor would save them, but no. My sandwich tasted disgusting. I bought 4 sandwiches and 2 large fries and paid $59, and the fries were the only edible thing. I don’t know if the quality of the food is standard on all Penn Stations now, but this one on 57th is hardly edible. I will definitely never spend one cent on this place. I’m glad there’s is a Subway and a Jimmy John’s near by. Definitely not worth...
Read morewent there the other night and was greeted at the door rquesting patrents to remove hats, hoodies, and sunglasses when enter the building... I know that they are just trying to keep the staff and everyone safe but made me a little on edge like their could be a robbery any minute. Second upon entering the restraunt I was asked for money from a guy leaving needing money for gas. I told him I would be out in a minute and we could talk about it, but service was so slow in getting my order together he drove off - guess he really didn't need the gas after all. Found this out after I had eaten half my sub that the workers preparing our food had not put gloves on or wash their hands after taking our order and handeling both money and change from the drawer. I don't know if it is a health code violation or not - but I will not return to this location based on my own personal reasons. health and saftey being top of the list.
If the above doesn't concern you - I will say that the food did taste good going down. not so good coming up at 1am...
Read moreThis place on Georgetown Rd needs TLC. Staff seems disconnected from each other and the roles they play to bring customers back. It's a stark difference between this location and the one that is on 86th Street. My sandwiches came out okay. I got a sweet iced tea. The tea tasted like it's been there for a couple of days. My child got a Starry medium. She told me it tasted like medicine. I'm just wondering if the drink nozzles get cleaned at night and, frankly, anything else in that place. The same could be said about the lobby. Sticky floors, dirty drink counters, dirty windows, sills, and walls. It's just not clean at all. One staff member was shopping on Amazon whilst the other two that I'd seen working actually doing their job. The restroom air dryer was broken, so my child used toilet paper to dry the hands. Long story short, this location is 10 percent of what it could be if it were under...
