I think it's safe to assume Piezano's was having a rough night tonight... This was our first time. Ordered a BBQ chicken personal pizza, a personal cheese pizza with mozzarella and parmesan cheese (I was hoping for fresh parmesan, but got a packet), and breadsticks. Delivery time was reasonable, especially for a Saturday. Deliver driver was very eager to please; initially forgot our sauces, but promised to come back with them. Shortly after he left, I opened second pizza and it was entirely wrong - got a bunch of toppings I didn't ask for. Called the store and let them know. Sent the wrong pizza back with the driver when he came back with the sauces (he had no clue about the messed up pizza - I told the person I spoke to that they could send my sauces with the remade pizza, but that didn't get communicated to him and he came back with one of the two sauces we asked for and a parmesan packet that was apparently the parmesan I asked for on the pizza).
As for the food itself: it arrived lukewarm; definitely tasted as though it had been sitting for a while. BBQ chicken pizza was pretty saturated with sauce, where as the alfredo could have definitely been increased. Breadsticks were good, but definitely would have been better with the sauces before they got cold.
We'd probably be willing to try it again, but I'm assuming we'd have better luck on...

Thanks!
Original Review: Wanted to spend money locally rather than with one of the big chains. Ordered a large traditional pepperoni pizza for delivery at 6:15 on a Sunday night. Was given a 45 minute delivery time and the delivery took about that long, no problem.
I specified that I wanted a no-contact delivery but the driver knocked and waited anyway, oh well no big deal but still annoying. Received a thin-crust pizza instead of the traditional crust. As other reviews have mentioned the crust is chemical tasting, which is pretty off-putting and the rest of the pizza is mediocre at best. Certainly not worth the $19 before tip that the pizza runs. I don't mind paying more for local restaurants, I understand that they don't have some of the benefits of the big shops, but messing up the order, not listening to instructions and then having a sub-par product that costs significantly more is just not a winning recipe.
I hope you guys get it together because I don't want to see even more local businesses shutter, but I don't imagine that we will be ordering...
Read moreI wish I could un-taste this pizza. The crust seems to be having an identity crisis. Is it from the frozen section of the grocery store? Is traditional also thin crust? We definitely ordered traditional and it was thinner then my patience on 465 during rush hour. The toppings seemed to have been abandoned by the pizza maker because they only made it on half the pizza when it was ordered for the entire pizza. I too have been abandoned in life, so this is triggering. The breadsticks tasted like a dry kitchen sponge that had given up on life. The cheese dip however was pleasant mostly due to the fact that it was from Little Ceasar’s. To be fair, this pizza did bring some joy into my life, it made me appreciate every good pizza I've ever had. It was a humbling experience, a reminder that not every pizza is a winner. Sometimes, you have to taste defeat to truly...
