Tacos Tierra Caliente Restaurant — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I started coming to this place before they opened the restaurant. It was my absolute favorite then and things have stayed refreshingly consistent to this day. The addition of the restaurant only provides more delicious options. The staff, from the owners to the restaurant employees have all paid me nothing but respect and kindness. I understand coming into an establishment of any kind requires one to give respect in order to receive it. I’ve not only found my forever favorite tacos in the entire city, I’ve learned so many things about a different culture and that in itself is worth a visit and quick conversation at the counter. These folks feel like family. The best tacos I have had in 8 years since my street taco journey began. Thank you all for great service and delicious food every time! I didn’t even mention the portion size on the tacos. Incredibly generous compared to others around. Parking adequate for the size of the establishment. Cleanliness inside and out 10/10 and thats saying something for this area. These people care and they bring culture and cuisine...

i requested accommodations for my dietary restrictions, which is a meat allergy , all i asked were peppers and onions to take the place of the meat. in the restaurant business that’s considered a substitute, modifications or an up charge they were very mean toward me and refused to give me a fair price. they ask that i pay for the meat , and be charged for the peppers and onions as well. the tacos i was interested were $16 i would have then been charged an additional 3.50 per side order of onions and peppers that they refused to substitute. he said we will give you the three tacos without meat and charge you for the meat , then we will put the onions and peppers on the side and charge you per side order so i was gonna be giving an empty taco or cheese taco for $16

Great food but the lady that worked the window was very rude because my brother didn't want Pico de Gallo or beans on his burrito she literally slammed the window and stopped taking the order we was hungry and nothing else was open so we still ordered but her behavior was unprofessional and she didn't even give me my beans and rice I ordered and paid for I'd only ever go back if she didn't work the window because the food was good fabulous actually but the other 3 on within 3 miles radius on the same street are just as good around the same price and better service.
