I was a little worried about the size of the chicken they sold me. It was smaller than I am used to. I prepped it and cooked it exactly like my Mom taught me...WELL! Amazed! So incredibly good! I could tell, of course, very fresh! I am used to purchasing my chickens from Fresh Market or Whole Foods... this little chicken is better! By far! Great flavor, not even a hint of dry! Utter perfection. I love cooking, have enjoyed it for about 30 years, a lot of disappointments from a lot of grocers. Not this QUAINT little place! Very well appointed, and as I said, fantastic whole chickens!! I also purchased ground meat from them a few weeks back...never more compliments than with that spaghetti! Same recipe every time! I’m so glad I discovered this place. This is where I buy all my meat now. John gives the best customer service. We love the flat iron steaks, pork chops, beef roasts, chicken. He even has a big bag of vegetables for pot roast, and delicious garlic seasoning rub. You can even get Mikey’s garden hydroponic salad greens, if you missed them at the Saturday Farmer’s Market. The longhorn cheese is delicious! It’s so convenient to stop here after work and get fresh ingredients for dinner, and no line! I can also grab milk and iced tea without having to go to the big stores. I highly recommend checking them...

I love this store!!! There is an amazing butcher on site that makes fresh cuts and there is beautiful local produce and the best salsa ever!! I basically grew up in this store, I have been a customer for all of my life!! When I was young we would go in and get sodas and pop cycles and weird old timey candy on our way to or from the river. But the best part about this store is that time stands still when you walk through the door! If you ever get the chance to go, please slow down and appreciate the place for all it's wonder!
