This is the worst theatre I have ever had the misfortune of stepping foot into. Had such a bad experience I just had to leave a review. First of all, the place is filthy. Absolutely everything that could be cleaned looks like it hasn’t been for 10 years. The Burnsville center of movie theaters is what this is, the whole place is practically falling apart. The seats all look like someone got hungry and had a feast on the leather. The workers were all extremely creepy and stared at my girlfriend through every interaction and passing. Speaking of that as well, the workers LEFT for the last 4 hours of the cinema being open. Absolutely no one was in there. It was to the point where random movie goers were asking if I worked there. Also, somehow the food managed to be even more of a rip off than other theaters. Asked for a large popcorn bucket and got an extremely small one that costed like a gazillion dollars. Couldn’t go back for a refill with my membership shortly after because the whole place was abandoned. The straws are extremely cheap and break, the lids fall off when you pick a drink up. I have never been to a theatre this poorly managed. This place should not only be closed, but condemned. If you still go after hearing all of this, I’ll just say I told you so. Please, for the love of god please do not go here and instead go somewhere else. Keep in mind that the soap dispensers were all out too. So if you need to use the bathroom (the one that looks like it got hit by a devious lick ten times over and pissed on) just know that you won’t be able to wash your own hands. I can’t wait for an unannounced health inspector to get their hands on this building, they’d have...
Read moreWe are Preferred customers and this came in handy a few times. For Fantastic Beasts and Star wars the theater was packed and we were able to easily bypass the lines at the ticket area and the concessions stand. I LOVE the fact that we get to pick our seating in advance as this helps when you have a handicapped person with you who can not climb any stairs and needs a seat in that specific row. I would hate to drive out there, pay for tickets, get our snacks only to find non handicapped people have taken up the entire handicapped row. I am picky about my popcorn and always ask to have them fill my bucket half way so I can go put butter on it, then have them fill it the rest of the way and the staff have always been very nice about accommodating me on this even when the place is packed and they are busy at the stand. The seats are VERY comfortable, even for a plus size person. Only 2 down points is the theater can be a bit chilly sometimes and the concessions are VERY expensive but most theaters have both those issues. However if you pay the very reasonable fee to be a preferred member, the cost of snacks and tickets can be offset by the amount of money that you earn back on the membership card. We have found that as movie lovers, this money back perk pays for the membership fee many times over. They also have a small bar should you want to relax with a drink while you wait for your movie to begin. So if you are going to spend your money on an expensive night out at the movies, this theater is definitely the place to...
Read moreUsed to love this AMC. Went to Deadpool tonight and I was not pleased. First, the lobby was a wreck. Popcorn and napkins everywhere. I ordered off the app for my drinks and popcorn to be ready at 4:40. I got there at 4:45 and my order wasn’t up. I had to flag a guy down to get it. He found my ticket right away but the whole point is it was supposed to have been ready 5 minutes before that. No apology or anything. Next the pop machines were out of ice. The popcorn station only had one working butter dispenser that was ridiculously slow. They also have done away with the salt shakers. Now just tiny packets of salt like you get at school cafeterias. Next, the theater. Again, dirty. They obviously didn’t clean it at all. Popcorn and shredded used napkins all over the seat next to me. Also, insanely hot! Usually the theater AC is cranked to the point you need to bring blankets. I was in tee shirt and shorts and was sweating like a monkey. The non-stop barrage of commercials I’ve been able to largely tune out but the previews were too much. Normally I love previews but there were way too many. Thank God they shortened Nicole Kidman’s “movie magic” bit. The only positive part about the entire experience was the movie itself (hysterical and a good story) and the popcorn. AMC is better than this. I hope they clean...
