I don't normally write online reviews but I was so upset when I picked up my order today I just felt I had to speak out. I took a set of towels and washcloths to be monogrammed. The monograms looked okay, but the bill for the monogramming was over $90!!! That is more than the towels cost in the first place. The monograms were MUCH bigger than I had expected and bigger than on towels I had monogrammed at other places. They charged $7 just for a single L on a wash cloth! When my daughter and I dropped off the towels, the clerk made a big deal about filling out the order form and having us initial/sign everything about the thread color and font type but wouldn't quote us an exact price. She said they charged a dollar for every thousand stiches as if we would know how many stitches they would be using. They also never asked us to show them the size of monogram we wanted. When I picked up the order today and complained about the cost and size of the monogram, the clerk told me that the size was 'standard'. If that is the case and there is a 'standard' why couldn't the first clerk show us 'the standard' and give us an exact price? Clearly the bigger the monogram, the more stitches they can charge us. I think this is basically a 'gotcha' technique to make people pay too much for simple monogramming that can be done by a programmed machine. Read moreI would never recommend this store to anyone i know and strangers. Kathy and Craig are the worst owners I have ever seen. They treat their employees terrible which is resulting in loss of employees that made the experience more bearable. I have seen Kathy yelling at her employees for no reason and Craig belittling them in-front of customers. I have seen employees cry due to the owners words and actions. Not to mention that Craig admits to all of his employees, when they first start, that they don’t train. They say that if you watch someone who has worked at the store for a couple years. You’ll catch on. The hourly pay is not worth rude environment and the rude environment is not worth the hourly pay. I can only think of 3 employees that made me feel welcomed into the store and willing to help me whenever I need it. Besides them, everyone is grouchy and entitled with no smile. Read moreCraig the supposed owner is beyond rude and disrespectful to the sweet workers, many of which are still in high school. He constantly belittles his staff for his own faults. If something is messed up, he only makes excuses and blames someone else. He is the worst owner I have ever seen because he doesn’t even take ownership for his own mistakes. I know numerous people who work there who have either quit or wanted to quit. I wish I could give 0 stars because the way he runs the business is pitiful. He is disgusting and beyond rude to the young staff and his customers. I will refrain from returning until something is done regarding Craig. I refuse to step foot into an establishment that ignores his belittlement if staff and his carelessness with his job.
