Well, I've officially expanded to the point where I needed a Big and Tall store.. I was always kinda tall, but as I've hit my mid 50's, I've also put on some pounds- I am now the smallest size of the big and tall sizes- Yay ME! It was actually really awesome the first time I shopped here, as regular stores usually have very few options that fit me nowadays, but DXL had a TON of choices for me. Incredibly refreshing to have choices again!
The staff is extremely helpful and professional. They also have this cool new technology that scans you and tells you the perfect size for everything.. It doesn't work with Boxer shorts though so wear briefs or Boxer briefs if you want to try it out- Pretty strange but cool experience!
The prices are a little higher than I like, but you get more fabric, so I guess...
Read moreI went to this store with my boyfriend to get clothes for his upcoming interview. The associate, Travis, was A-MAZING. My boyfriend and I are very introverted people, but Travis approached us with a calm demeanor that made it easy to talk to him. He helped my boyfriend with measurements to find the write shirt and blazer, and even gave him a heads up on how the shirt may fit well on the neck, but baggy in the torso. He was right, but his honesty was refreshing. After that I felt like we could trust him. He knew when to give us space to contemplate, but yet made it known he was available for questions or help. Read moreI walked in and just like every other DXL location my nose was accosted by a wall of horribly sweet, Abercrombie & Fitch like cologne scent. Please, kill that smell DXL! You're not a high end clothing store and never will be. Moving forward, usually I'm welcomed warmly and ask if I need assistance, but this occasion I walk in and the staff is horsing around, clothes needing folding out in multiple spots and I'm not welcomed and then later harassed with questions when they get back to work.
