Newmedica Aesthetic Institute — Local services in Irvine

I recently went into Newmedica on a Groupon deal. In the past most of my Groupon deals have been sub-par at least with Botox. However, upon arriving to Newmedica I was promptly greeted with a friendly smile even though I was 10 min late:/(Traffic!!) With-in minutes I was taken back into the "Botox Room" It was well maintained, clean, and smelled like fresh cleaning supplies; which I personally prefer, anyhow soon Melissa came into the room, she was the P.A. who preformed Botox on me. I explained to her that I have had Botox before and that I bruise easily so I expected to bruise a bit although I ended up bruising a lot. I don't blame her as she was GREAT! I haver a ton of small blood vessels around my eyes plus I am very fair in skin color. Still it sucks for the holidays:( All in all I will be back to Newmedica and recommend them to family and friends they were definitely better than other Botox clinics I have been too in the past. As a first-time patient getting Botox, I was excited but a bit nervous for my visit to Newmedica. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was given paperwork to complete but had to fill it out in the hallway since the compact waiting room was occupied by one other patient. After finishing, I moved to the waiting room and was told by the friendly front desk person that the doctor was running about 10 minutes behind. No problem, except, I ended up waiting 45 minutes while overhearing the doctor socialize with a friend in her office. When I was finally seen, there was no apology for the delay. While the doctor explained the procedure clearly and answered my questions, the results were disappointing. I highly recommend Newmedica for many reasons. My first experience getting Botox was at this office, they explained what Botox is and made me feel ready to look younger! I’ve been going here for a year now and after 60 units each visit I look rested and refreshed. I even got really brave and have done filler on my cheeks and PRP on my scalp. This is a guys game too, move over ladies! Caroline has done most of my procedures, she is really talented and puts me at ease. The front office staff is friendly and professional.
