Formal Garden, Bill Barber Park — Attraction in Irvine

This park has a beautiful trellis with bougainvillea blooming with a rich magenta color. A great place to have a picnic or just to be outside. Met some friends there a week ago and as the afternoon wore on, more and more high school students (dressed up for a semi-formal event) began to show up with their parents. Parents were taking photos of their sons/daughters.

We were eventually "overrun" by the crowd that gathered near us so we had to move to another area of the park. There was no sign indicating that that area of the park would be used by the students/parents. Would have been nice to have such a sign/notice so that we and other park users could have...

Pros: Fantastic destination for relaxation and quality time with both family and oneself in Irvine Whether you visit during the daytime or nighttime, the peaceful atmosphere and various recreational options make it a perfect place to unwind and take a much-needed rest.

Cons: Need to take a walk at the parking lot to get some exercise...
