Christ Church in Irving TX is Truly a Welcoming Church Home. This was Our First Visit to Christ Church, Irving and From the moment we stepped through the doors of the Church my spouse and I knew we had found something truly special. As first-time visitors, we were a little unsure of what to expect, but any hesitations quickly dissolved in the face of the incredibly warm and genuine welcome we received. Every single person we encountered made us feel not just accepted, but truly embraced. It was clear that the spirit of community and love permeates every corner of this church. We were genuinely touched by how supportive and understanding everyone was, especially as we navigate our own spiritual journey. It felt like we were instantly among friends who genuinely cared. The worship experience was uplifting, spirit-filled, and deeply moving. We felt a tangible sense of God's presence, and the message resonated deeply with our hearts. There’s a beautiful balance of reverence and joy that makes Christ Church a truly inspiring place to worship. We left our first visit with full hearts and a profound sense of peace. Read moreI recently moved to Irving,Texas last week from waco,TX (go Baylor !). My husband and I were looking for a new church and thought this would be a good church. It was really hard to get to because of construction. No one greeted us even though we looked lost and that's because we walked by 3-4 people. Instead we followed signs for 'worship center'. Typically before entering the building I'm used to people saying welcome. No one did. We found our seats then worship began. The music was a bit too loud. The lights they had inside were pretty but the way they were used seemed too concert like. The worship team made it seem to concert with comments like "let's do this". Then after 2 songs this woman said this will be a one hour worship.... I'm all for that but I didnt plan for an hour worship and this was no where on their website. Maybe it was but as a new visitor I was only able to find the times. Then she said welcome to the people watching online and those that were new to fill out a prayer card and put in info.... the people online got a more welcome. Then they said something like close your eyes and then the band ruined the moment with the loud music. At this point I had to leave. It didn't feel right. I didnt feel the Holy Spirit there. It felt too forced and fake in my opinion. Hopefully we can find a good...
Read moreI love this church I get so much out of the services it’s more personal the congregation is awesome!!! I’ve never felt more at home in a church of God. It’s not overpopulated. You don’t have to walk a. Mile to get in the door as a person that is disabled I can appreciate that. The way they break the scriptures down helps to interpret them in different ways that fits you. The music is so touching to your heart with the words on the screens posted in multiple places easy to see and read. That alone whether it’s your first time or your hundredth time you can follow along and give your all which makes your experience a fun, spiritual filled worship. You don’t feel isolated you are a part of everything and they have provided the tools necessary in every way. I know for me I would fumble in books of music or my bible and by the time I found the page the topic or chorus was almost over therefore I would only receive 1/2 a service. It’s extremely casual they don’t care if you come in shorts, dressed up . They welcome you as YOU ARE and you don’t feel out of place. Through their actions not their words you know you are loved and cherished because YOU are also a...
