Customer service is meaningless to the staff at this salon - especially Sofia and Helen, the owner. Sofia will tell you she is not feeling well - even tho you have an appointment with her for Dip (every two weeks), yet does someone elseās nails instead! She obviously was surprised to get caught - I kept my pedicure appointment. But rather than apologize for her LIES She sends a text trying to gaslight by saying itās my fault because I am picky! You bet Iām picky! It is my money, and at the time I always tipped her more than 20% - more importantly why wouldnāt Sofia not want to be picky about the work she does. This followed by more lies saying she wonāt be taking nail appointments anymore, that she is going to do another kind of business, have a baby this year, get married. And so I wished her well via text and IG. Her response was a very immature block on IG. Followed by more lies. Helen (new owner) books my appointment with LiLi for 9:30 on Thursday (just hours before Iām catching a plane) - only to have LiLi pull a supposed no show - but have someone else then say āsheā told him to do my nails. Not who I made appointment with. My point is this: Drama, disregard, disrespected, lied to and gaslighted, not appreciated as a longtime customer - this is the type of ācustomer serviceā you will get here - especially from Sofia and the owner. I have been going here since it opened (different owner then) - about 5 years and loyal to Sofia. I have sent them MANY customers - more than they know - including my daughter, to Sofia. My daughter spent a lot of money for her nail designs - and the quality of work by Sofia was not always the best. But we remained loyal. My daughter left because of the ridiculous drama, how I was being treated, deteriorating quality of services, among other things. I am done now too. I am a very loyal customer - no more! I do hope this is read by all and deters those from going to this place. Ladies - you spend a lot of money on your nails - itās a time of self-care and treatment - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE - where you are appreciated and receive excellent...

2023: Tried to like this place but just canāt. Went today for the 3rd time in a year as my second experience was really good. First experience not so much but my cousin raved about Sophia so I decided to give it another try. 2nd experience great, 3rd experience (today) horrible. Sophia is up and down, one min sheās laughing with you and next she seems frustrated with you. The ppl working there are older women and they do talk about you. I told Sophia I wanted round oval, natural shape and she gave me oval coffin. I didnāt like it so she insisted I told her oval coffin and that I would have to wait on another nail tech as she had an appt (it was 12:40 and I had an appt w/ her at noon) Iām like ok whatever. She brings me a bowl to take off but I told her Iām ok w/ my nails just need more round, she gets frustrated again. I finish my pedicure (Sara is GREAT btw) and I asked Sophia to round one finger the same way she rounded the others and she got upset again. She then seem frustrated bc I stated I wanted nude 410 but it was really 440, which was an honest mistake. She somehow had the time to finish my set and had no āapptā bc she completed my gel and I left at 1:30. Anyway I spent $130 just for them to be upset with me damn near the whole time - itās like they donāt want you there and Iām giving my money. Nails are not worth it at all. Would only go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have overlooked previous mismanagement of scheduling because our nail techs Sophia and Cheryl are so wonderful.
I called to schedule three appointments today. I specifically asked for our favorite techs Sophia and Cheryl. Then after confirming the appointment times I clarified again to schedule us with Sophia and Cheryl. I specifically always do this when calling because there can be a language barrier and I understand this. Upon arrival I am told and almost argued that I never mentioned names. If we had a misunderstanding over the phone that is okay with me, but please donāt argue that I did not try my best to make sure the two names were heard and understood. Again, that was still okay and we were ready to enjoy our manis/pedis and massages.
What keeps us from ever coming back is the new male nail tech. He was so fast and irritated the entire time. If I mentioned something he would get frustrated and tell me to just wait and then when I would wait and mention it later he would get mad at me for waiting until itās too late. Some harsh things were eventually said between the both of us because there was a clear problem of communication. As a customer, being uncomfortable to say anything creates a very tense situation and unhappy outcome. This manās ego cannot take instruction and I can only assume he is not an easy employee to work with.
Its a shame...
