Island Park Adventures — Local services in Island Park

I am writing this review to warn others not to do business with this guy. We rented a couple of SeaDoos from them and we took very good care of them all day. When we took them back at the end of the day the first thing the guy looked for was if the running boards had flipped. Apparently the running boards that the SeaDoos rest on can flip in transit when you drive over a bump. One of the boards had flipped while we were driving back, and put a 3 inch scratch in the SeaDoo. We were not warned that the trailer could do this or to watch for it. They charged us $100 dollars and INCH to fix it. If the scratch had been due to our negligence we would not have a problem, however the damage was due to their trailer malfunction, not our negligence. If we had know about this issue with the trailer and the possible damage it could cause we would not have rented the units. There were four of these boards on the trailer two for each SeaDoo. Each of these boards are around 5 feet long had the scratch run the whole length of the board or happened with all 4 boards we may as well have bought our own SeaDoo. Also when we went to pick up the equipment we reserved for the day, we had to wait around for an hour before we could get the equipment. We have a family reunion in Island park each summer, and we will never rent...

If you were to write a book on poor customer service here's your example. We felt like we were putting them out and we were doing them a favor. Spent 15 minutes outside front door after being told to wait, but don't go in as they continued to park ATV's out front. Was not able to leave their location till 9:30 waiting for them to finish, but was told if we were late we'd be charged extra. First thing out of their mouth was how they are discussing ways to find and charge more on any small damage as it hinders the resale. I understand you can't bring it back with cracks etc., but the small damages he was pointing out was no more than you'd expect for a machine being used. Upon return we placed life jackets nicely on seats to show we returned them all and was told that's not where they go to take them inside. After inspection they just walk off leaving us to follow them not a word from them. As we stood inside trying to figure out if we were done he finally looked up and said "you're done"... by the way you're welcome, as not one thank you escaped their lips. We've been renting snowmobiles and wave runners from them for the past 12 years and the last two have been terrible. Honestly if you hate your job that bad life is too short find...

The folks at Island Park Adventure were great! The time they took to go over the map and the app with us before we left the rental/dealership center was fantastic! The gave us great ideas for places to go and see during the day. The staff here are super friendly and ready to help you have a great day on on the trails!

we rented 2 of the 4 seat Can-Ams - we were 5 adults and 2 kids! we had a great time during the day - we preferred the roads/trails over the old railway bed - smoother ride. We enjoyed Sawtelle Mt, Big Springs and Johnny Sack's cabin, and the Upper Mesa Falls. We found a few good spots along the way to really test out the off-road capabilities on some hills and puddles (from the rain the day before). Our younger passengers really enjoyed the hills and circular/donut courses we found!

If you're on the fence about renting here - don't be - go for it! we had the best time! Helmets and goggles were provided - but I would bring face coverings/gaitors to...
