I wanted to shed some light on my unfortunate experience I had here a little ways back. I had stopped going here for yrs due to a bad experience and decided to give them another shot and I’m sorry I did. I had an appt scheduled for a color and a cut..on my way I got behind and was going to be exactly 7 minutes late to my appt. Out of courtesy I called bc I work in the dental field and know the importance of scheduled appts and I wanted to let them know I was on the way but would be late 7 minutes. They proceeded to tell me that was not ok and I needed to reschedule. As I drove 45 minutes and was almost there I was a little annoyed but I understood and was respectful and to their wishes I rescheduled for another day. I made sure to show up 20 minutes early to my next appt! Just to be safe and respectful. (I also want to add this was an appt they had to reschedule for me originally bc the girl I was seeing was pregnant and had called off.) When I sat down, I told the stylist what I wanted and she proceeded to say “that’s not what they have you down for” and I don’t have time to do that.” I told her what happened the previous week and that I was very clear as to what I wanted for my appt. She said sorry nope she doesn’t have time. I started to cry right there in the chair and all she did was ask if I wanted to reschedule..I’m not one for conflict so I apologized like it was my fault and said I would call back to reschedule. Half the girls up front saw me leave in tears as well as the stylist and not one person approached me to apologize or make it right or even reach out after the fact to reschedule me. Clients are a dime a dozen there and unfortunately you are treated very cold there if you are not a “regular”. I have since found a great salon in Akron…SF salon! They girls there are amazing and so nice to everyone that walks in the door and makes you feel so welcome. Do yourself a favor and stay away from...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE. I am 16 years old and went to the salon by myself for the first time with my friend. I asked for a medium blonde to a white blonde ombre. Cheyenne Goehler was my stylist and I told her my budget was $300, but I didn't want to go up that high. She told me she would keep it under $180, so the whole time she was doing my hair I assumed she was keeping it under $180. When I went to pay I was told that the total was $292. My hair is fried and is not at all like the picture I showed her. My hair does NOT look worth the money I spent. I came back later with my grandma and we spoke with stylish manager Jackie. She accused me of lying and said she was told that Cheyenne said she would keep it under $280 which was not at all true. She was very disrespectful. My father later went in and was told that they made a mistake because I wasn't given a waiver, so I will be given a refund and a professional with more experience will fix my hair. I am extremely disappointed, as I have never dyed my hair ombre before and expected more from this salon. I will never be coming back and was completely taken advantage of. I am disgusted at the disrespect and immaturity of the workers...
Read moreThe person that cut my hair was very sweet and I don’t want to disparage her but the cut I got wasn’t what I was looking for. I wanted a layered bob with the shortest layer around my ears. The shortest layer ended up only being a couple inches long and she basically removed the entire back of my hair. It was only about an inch long on the back of my head. I wish she would have asked before stacking the back of my hair. I really don’t like A-line cuts and that’s what I ended up with. I hate to be so blunt but I was left with a Karen cut. In my opinion it was matronly looking and suited for someone older than myself. I feel like she should have asked before doing something so drastic. I should have specified but I still think it was too extreme without asking before doing that. By the time I figured out what she was doing it was too late. I didn’t say anything because there was no way to fix it as there was no more hair to take away. She isn’t a bad hairstylist per se but I don’t think she understood what I was looking for or communicated well enough with me. The cut I got would be suited for a more...
