In disbelief by how they treated me!!!
I have tried to like this place as I am local. But every time I come it severely disappointed. The first time I went was for a mani / peti and I swear more than 4 people worked on my pedicure alone. Itâs like they couldnât get it figured out.
I thought maybe they were overwhelmed due to it being spring break and unusual numbers.
Whatever. So I went again. The guy who did my nails - completely took off my acrylic. To which I asked him to put back on. He did not!! He at one point literally put his finger up in my face to âwait a minute â when his personal cell phone rang, and I watched him dig through his wallet to find a credit card. He made me wait 15 minutes to complete a personal call in front of me to pay for something (I couldnât tell you what it was because it wasnât in English).
My appointment took me over an hour and a half for a basic manicure... It cost me $60 and got this done Monday (6/10) it is now Wednesday (6/12) and 2 of my nails have already broken. I am BEYOND LIVID. I will never return.
As an update to your response .... I did in fact call you and ask you to fix it, and make it right. You told me to come in which I did (6/18). When I got there you argued and blamed me for choosing a matte finish. Regardless of how I asked them to be done a $65 manicure should not last only 2 days.. you wanted to charge me again when I asked you to fix it by doing what I asked you to do in the original appointment.
When I expressed that I did not want to pay (15 minutes into the 2nd appointment when on the phone you said you would fix for free) you continued to argue with me and make comparisons such as âwhen you go to a restaurant you do not call a week later and complainâ horrible comparison. I am in the service industry and when a guest (especially a repeat guest) is upset with the quality of your work you fix it without question and at no charge.
You guys got upset with me and told me you were done talking and asked me to leave. You let me leave with my nails completely shredded, uneven and cracked. I will ABSOLUTELY not be giving you...
Read moreI went to get a mani/pedi with my daughters. I called ahead for availability and they asked how quickly I would be there. I said roughly 10 minutes and he said they had availability. When we walked in, it was probably closer to 15 minutes. They had 2 of the 3 chairs available so they started working on my daughters and I waited another 15 minutes before they said they were ready for me. They sat me in the chair, then the manager walked away again. When he came back, I told him I had gel on my nails that needed to be removed too. He said he didnât have time for a manicure but would finish my pedicure (which he hadnât started). My toes were fine so I asked if he could do the manicure instead. He said no, only pedicure, and I explained that I would prefer a manicure which takes the same amount of time. He then told me I was late and that they had other customers with appointments waiting and he couldnât do it. He proceeded to argue with me. I ended up not getting a manicure or a pedicure and waited there for another 45 minutes while my daughters finished theirs. First and last time we will visit this salon. Iâm giving it 2 stars because the technicians did a good job with my daughter's nails but I was appalled at the argumentative nature of the manager. Donât make me wait 15 minutes to start an appointment and then tell me Iâm...
Read moreMy husband tried to surprise me with a pedicure at Diva Nails. We went in this afternoon for the pedicure When I sat in the pedicure chair and felt the water in the basin, it was COLD. DH's basin was also cold. When we pointed it out to the staff, the acted like were were asking for something very special in requesting warm water for our pedicures. Their excuse was "we were busy earlier." We got up to leave because there is no way we were going to have a pedicure in cold water.
The staff then said "5 minutes and we will have hot water" so we decided to give it a shot. Twenty minutes later, after they filled the basins with water from the water fountain (yes, the water fountain you drink from), we sat down again. The water was still cold. I told the manicurist about it and she took on a major attitude, like having warm water for a pedicure is an unusual request.
Then a very rude receptionist told us not to come back if we were going to be difficult. No worries, Diva Nails. We won't be back and will tell everyone we know not to go there. Having warm water for a pedicure is a must, and I really don't care how busy you...
