Worst customer service ever! I wish I could leave less than one star! I absolutely hate being lied to and that's what this hotel did repeatedly and it goes all the way up to management! We called ahead to see if there was a hotel in the area that we could have a late check-out at because we were up there for a wedding that didn't start until later. We asked this hotel if a 1pm check-out would be a problem. They said no problem and they'll mark it on our account so we booked with them. We arrived and asked a different lady at the desk to confirm this late check-out was noted on our account she checked it out said it's fine. We went out the following morning for breakfast and came back to give the kids a nap before the wedding. We just get the kids down for a nap and the front desk calls at 11:30 saying we need to get out now that the house keeper's yelling at her that she needs to clean the room. She tells us that we check out now or that she'll charge us for another night. So now we're not dressed and ready for the wedding. I have to wake up 3 cranky kids from their naps (all under the age of 6). Throw everything very quickly into our suitcases and leave the hotel without even getting ready for the wedding. Never, never would have stayed here. When I called the manager to complain and explain the situation, I was told that it was policy to not have a late check-out at 1. Well, if it was policy than we should not have been lied to twice telling us otherwise because we never would have booked with them. As far as the room goes the floors were so filthy they turned my toddlers feet black (should have left his shoes on). The tub was also filthy so, no, I didn't give them a bath in there. The only thing clean I felt was the bed. Definitely would NEVER stay at this place again and NEVER recommend it. We gave them the opportunity to make it right and they did not. They don't care about positive reviews so they definitely will not be...
Read moreI have stayed here 3 times this last year. This time was definitely the worst. There were 4 of us, 3 adults and 1 kid staying for 3 nights. After checking in we got to our room and 1 of my boys pulls the bedding down on one of the beds and finds 3 or 4 strands of very long black hair. I go to the front desk and the girl kind of looks at my like what is the big deal--all I wanted was new bedding so I could make the bed. The next morning we go to shower and there are only 3 towels, but 4 of us need to shower! There is also one container of soap and conditioner--were staying 3 nights and there are 4 of us that need to wash our hair. The room should have been ready for 4 people. On our last night(Sat) I go to the front desk to get clean towels about 9. There is 1 desk clerk and 2 people in front of me, so I wait. The first individual they could not find his reservation so they help the second person in line while the first person decides what to do. A gentleman comes around the corner goes right to the front desk and tells the clerk his room keys no longer works! He gives him 2 new room keys and sends him on his way and then continues to help the first person in line. He is just finishing the first person in line and here comes the same guy back saying his room keys still do not work. The front desk clerk says I'll meet you in the hallway to help you, all the while I have been patiently waiting for my turn in line. Before the desk clerk steps out I inform him I have been waiting my turn just to ask for clean towels. He then says meet me around the corner. What ever happened to common courtesy and asking the guy who can't get in his room to wait his turn. I waited approximately 10 minutes just to get towels. Between the hairs in the bed and the front desk staff ignoring me, I will be taking my...
Read moreWe had a bad experience at our previous Super 8 by Wyndham in Gardiner MT, so we would not have stayed at this place if we hadn't booked so far in advance and had another option. It was located in a "strip mall," and the sign for the hotel was placed after the entrance, when traveling south! We almost missed the left turn. The room looked better than the previous one. But, my husband sat down in the only cushioned chair in the room and leaned back, and the back of it almost fell out. He told the person at the desk, and the employee was already aware of the bad condition of the chairs. It could have caused a back injury or head injury if the back of the chair completely broke free. The shower drain latch didn't work, so the tub filled up when showering. Bathroom door latch didn't work, so door wouldn't stay shut tight. Our floor and the floor above us creaked when walking on them, so we were awakened at 5 am by the people above us walking around. Snack machine on first floor was 3/4 empty. The grab & go breakfast offered more than the Gardiner MT Super 8 by Wyndham. There were fresh fruit options and granola bars in addition to the muffins, coffee and tea, and juice. But we bought instant oatmeal from a grocery store, since it wasn't available at the hotel, and realized there were no bowls supplied to make it in the microwave. The cups they supplied were not microwavable. The clothing rack in the room was hung crooked. The toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom was so close to the strip of counter above the toilet that I hit my elbow reaching for it the first time. The price of $227 per night for this room...
