Worst and poor customer service. our cashier at the time was janet, the old lady. Honestly, she was rude and has a unprofessional attitude.
The way she looked at me talks it seems like she is very jealous at my physic. It is not my fault that i’m young and she is like my grandma age. Her facial expressions seems like she doesn’t like to see people of other color. Even her tone sounds so abrupt and rude.
I asked her, kindly, ‘’how are you today?’’ she didn’t reply back to the question. Then she asked us ‘’ is that all yours?‘’ to my husband then i replied’’ yes all of those.‘’ she wont look at me and talks to me when once she put everything in our box 📦 that we bought on checkout she put our box on the cart.🛒 I just put my hand on the side of the cart that was stationed by her side until my husband pays for it on checkout. she literally pull the cart roughly towards her from my hand which hurt my fingers.
i was shocked, but stayed quiet about it and walked away. she thought i will take the cart with me but that was not my intention. I was just putting my hands on there until my husband done with his transaction. i would say this Janet old lady need help. She is sick-minded, stubborn and a trashy-attitude old woman honestly. Won’t go to her anymore. She will not even reply to your ‘’ thank you’’ after she’s done with your transaction. It seems like she not polite to others. Don’t expect...
Read moreThis was my first visit to Aldi's. It's ok. Pros are the store is very clean and well organized. Nice wide aisles. Which I liked 😉 The cons were that Aldi's is limited on brands and not a huge selection of anything really. They have a handful of name brands. Which I realize the Store is based in Germany. So basically, there were brands I had never seen but the packing was same or similar to the packaging I am familiar with. So far, all of the food I have tried that I purchased there has been very good. I suppose it just takes some getting used to. You put a quarter in to get your buggy and when you return it, you get your quarter back. Which is a genius idea to keep people from leaving buggies in the lot. However, it was a bit confusing for a first time user. Should have a sign on the outside explaining how it works. The buggies are outside next to building. Then lastly, you buy and bag your own groceries. I did not know this either. But they do have a nice counter to bag your food after purchase. It's definitely different but I would go again for odds and ends. Not for my entire shopping list though. As far as pricing, Aldi's does have very good pricing. The cashier explained the reason they can keep it low is due to the quarter for cart and self bagging. I can see...
Read moreI've been here several times since they opened a few weeks ago. My overall impressions are that they are somewhat O.K. They have a few good deals especially in their frozen foods section but overall they are nothing to be excited about. Sure I can save a buck or two on their prices over similar items from nearby grocery stores but their selection is limited, their store is tiny and what REALLY sucks the most is their checkout lines. I want to buy only a few things but I have to get in line with only one or two open registers available each with ten people ahead of me, everyone of them with a full cart of a gazillion items...this place has NO express check out like Food Lion or self checkout like Walmart Express right down the road next to them. Sorry Aldi...waiting in line FOREVER just to save a buck or two just isn't worth...
