Either all there 4 and 5 stars are paid for reviews or yall just anything Nothing is freshly made. I literally asked the lady if they had a microwave they were using to warm food and her exact response was "oh, we don't microwave those items". So my following question was "why is half stone cold and the other hot because that an action of a microwave and not a stove" - of course there is a puzzled response. I understand that restaurants may use microwave to deal with alot of customers. Well no more than 30 ppl can fit in here at one time so all food should be fresh. The rice is extremely overcooked. Otherwise it has a decent flavor. Stay away from the shrimp 🍤 The veggie seafood soup..... scallops so chewy. I was positive is wasn't safe to eat. The Broth is solid. I'd drink it if I was sick 😫 They may as well have a "seat yourself" sign because that what your directed to do anyway. Wing just came splatter with sauce. Most people eat visually ESPECIALLY if you are paying for a meal. They should at least look good. Wing were white as dust with red sauce just poured over. The lady said that they don't toss the Wing in the wok anymore. So room temp wings with cold sauce. No thank you The booth seating needs to be chanced out immediately. Finally found my sushi spot in Jacksonville. Have been to four sushi places in the area. None of them make the sushi correctly. This establishment clearly cares about their sushi and actually makes the rice correctly!!! Seasoned it properly with the rice vinegar and the little sugar that’s added to the vinegar when making the seasoning for the rice after you cook it. I’m sure they also use the Kombu as well (for those who don’t know; it’s a type of kelp) You most not skip those three crucial ingredients if you want to make the sushi correctly! Also had the gyoza and a side of fried rice. Delicious. Not one item I have ordered here has been nothing but spectacular! Mind you I’ve been here three times now. Not once has the food ever been bad or just mediocre. It’s always perfectly executed! If you want sushi and I mean sushi that’s made correctly and excellent taste. Look no further than here! This is the place to go! Will be coming back many many times in the future. Thank you Olive for being such a polite kind fun waitress to have! Food is wonderful! But our service was awful. My friend and I came to get sushi like many times before and were so excited to. We ordered boba, then we ordered our food and we asked if it was alright that we went outside to smoke while we waited for our food, not only did our waitress say okay but so did the person at the host stand. We thought it would be okay to take our boba with us since we intend on coming back and we let them know. Long story short, we got the cops called on us and accused of stealing because we were quite literally standing outside to smoke. We were nothing but nice about going outside and then when we were followed outside and asked about what we were doing, we tried to reassure them that we were just smoking and that we would come back in, but at that point, the cops were already being called. We paid for our items and waited for our food and took it to go. Unbelievable experience. I have worked as a server for MANY years and if anyone ever mentions that they are going outside for any reason and that they will be back, I believed them.
