Only rating a 2 star because the food was great. Personally I liked the brussel sprouts, but I was expecting a roasted like texture, a little char, what I actually got was really burnt. I had to peel away layers to get to something that was edible. Boyfriends steak was a bit overdone. The food runner came right back to our table after dropping our food off, to let us know he might have gotten the wrong steak in the first place, but boyfriend was hungry and didn't care at that point. So, I'm not complaining about that.
We were a party of 6 on a Saturday night. Being a waitress of over 20 years, I was expecting the usual busy dinner problems. The 40 minute wait wasn't an issue. We grabbed a menu and all decided what drinks and appetizers we were going to order before we even got seated, we decided one check for the ease of the server. Trying to help simplify the process as much as we could. We ended up with a nice young man named Sonny, as our waiter. He was pleasant and had a great demeanor throughout the entire ordering process. Put our apps in right away and didn't even fuss when we ordered cheese fries as an app, he just made it happen. But this is kinda when it went down hill. A food runner dropped our apps off, and then a little later, Sonny came and checked to make sure everything was alright. At this point we are almost done with the apps and I'm sure he only stopped to check on us because I had started playing "dirty dish Jenga" with all the appetizer plateware at the end of the table. 4 of our drinks were completely empty. He said he would go get refills. It took a bit of time on his part and by the time he returned, I had finished mine as well. He told me I wasn't supposed to drink the rest of mine while he was gone. He told me he would go get a diet coke for me and then disappeared after that. Well, not really, he was in plain sight standing at the end of the bar talking to another server for a majority of that time. He dropped the Corona he had been waiting on off at the table next to us and happened to see my empty glass, prompting him to come apologize and make up a lie about having to run food, as if we hadnt just sat there and watched him sit at the end of the bar for the past 5 minutes. I really hate being lied to, so I was over the experience and asked for it to be brought out in a Togo cup and to bring the boxes. Our bill came $208 and we left a $40 cash tip, I'm mentioning that in case Sonny ever reads this. You did not deserve that tip. We left it for you because I did that same job for 20+ years and you have bills to pay. But honestly, we were there for a special occasion, if you had done an amazing job we probably would have stayed for dessert and left $100.
I do not forsee going back to this location anytime soon. Maybe a Togo situation,...
Read moreThis was my first time ever going to a steakhouse, and I can say with much passion that I was not left in disappointment but had one of my greatest dining expe to date. From the moment that you walk in, you can feel and see their excellent atmosphere. It's a nice and simple design, nothing flashy or poppy to the eye but rather a nice, mellow environment with a simple color palette. Yet, this environment is a nice change from your traditional, everyday restaurant design. It's welcoming and makes you feel like you are visiting a home. They take a simple design and make it work, so we'll by going against the tradition of using eye-popping colors that overstimulate your brain. Even their bathrooms are greatly done and designed! The staff is super friendly and treats you as if you are their best friend. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a nice, mannered, sweet voiced lady who made me feel welcome. Like I've come here a thousand times. I was very lucky to get a staff lady by the name of Nicole D. She was a very sweet and charismatic lady. Using a nice tone and words. She would come by every good amount of minutes to check on us, and when we were confused about something, she gave us a clear and quick answer. We jokingly asked her one time after she asked us if there was anything we could do if she could sing and, well, she did! Sung a very good "you are my sunshine". She was very efficient with her work, getting our food out in high quality and still nice and hot in times most others can not beat. (I'd also like to thank the chefs for making such good food at such a good time.) The food was on another level. If I had to put it into simple words. If I was in heaven and God asked me what food I wanted. I'd ask God for LongHorn Roadhouse. It is heavenly to the tongue. From their crispy Texas Tonions to their creamy Roahouse Mac & Cheese to their nice and well cooked steak. They have so many options that a man could die for. They ask you how you want your steak cooked! It's amazing, and I wish other restaurants could make things this good. On an extra note, I would love to give props to the owners of this business as they give little pins to staff for going above and beyond. I love a business that acknowledges their staff for their work because without them, where would the higher-up's be? I highly recommend you go here as it is one of the best food places I have ever experienced and for a...
Read morecame with a party of 3 on 4/13/2025 around 2:30 pm. when arrived we had to wait 30mins to be seated which was never a problem cause it seemed to have been a dinner rush. I was excited to be eating longhorn for the 1st time being it was my birthday weekend and to have family with me. My 1st experience was horrible the waitress was friendly but as we was seated she brought out the yeast rolls while we waited on our food to come out and I had to ask for utensils. when the food did arrive all the food was cold my mother asked the waitress if she could get her mac and cheese warmed up and she took it to the back but never brought it back out to the the table. when she cut her steak open it was pink on the inside which when she ordered she ask for it to be well done so once again she asked the waitress if she could get her steak cooked a little more she took the steak and never brought it back to the table. By then 30mins have went by and she still haven't received her mac and cheese nor steak. At this point she didn't even have a meal too eat. I ordered lamp chops and Brussel sprouts my Brussel sprout where burnt up couldn't even eat them just a waste. so we asked to speak with the manager and this where it gets ugly at cause we came to have a great time it was my birthday. We never got a chance to get his name cause he came to the table with such attitude telling us we could leave after us trying to explain to him that the food was cold and the waitress had taken some food back to the kitchen and never brought it back to the table he didn't want to listen to what we had to say he just kept telling us we could leave. smh i wanted to pay for my lamp chops and take them home cause they where good but he goes to say what you need a to-go plate for yall can leave. he was acting as if we didn't have the money to pay for our meals and i did not appreciate how we were treated ill never eat there again he gave me my 1st and last bad experience there. when folks come to spend they money and have a great time you expect nothing but great customer service and it wasn't even that busy at that time cause everything pretty much slowed down for the food to be cold and them to never bring back out my mother food. Not to mention he told us the food they sever there is 125 f thats...
