1 pole out for 4 people the entire trip!! Not to mention, he held the pole and set the hook even though we told him we were experienced anglers. Basically, we paid for Capt. Dave to fish. Also, he did not have back up poles ready to go when your line broke. So much time was wasted while he took his time to redo the line. This happened a lot. **FAMILIES-If that’s not enough -Capt Dave talks the entire time monopolizing your family time. He bashes past clients and makes inappropriate sexist comments. I am not the type to be offended easily but I was offended for the first time in my life. If you have children do NOT go on this charter it was very uncomfortable for four hours! Also do not tell him where you are staying he told us he will raise the prices if you are staying at certain hotels/areas etc. I was very shocked that he has 4 and 5 star reviews. At first, I wasn’t going to leave a review but the mom side of me couldn’t allow another family to endure 4 hours of what we experienced. If you envision spending time with your family and catching fish please look else where this was a waste of money. I wish we had the guy who the reviews talk about but it was definitely not Capt. Dave. I hope this spares your family and you find someone to enjoy...

Moved to Mayport 4 years ago, and everytime I talked to others about inshore and jetty fishing, one name always popped up. Dave Sipler and his famous Jettywolf boat.
