Went in and got my own haircut, the barber did a good job other than the line up on my stash, I had to touch it up at the house which wasn’t a big deal.. the fade I had done was good, so I decided to take my son in.. bad idea.. everything was good until we got to the line up, it was terrible.. he told me he was done, and I had to point out that the line was going diagonal across my sons face.. he said okay I see it, attempted to fix it.. instead of fixing the side that needs to be fixed, he’s chopping at the opposite side pushing the line up further up, and making the line up even more diagonal across his face.. when he said he was done again, I pointed out to him how it was still crooked.. and by a lot.. now he decides to use a different razor and attempts to fix it.. he then asks me if it looked good, and tbh.. I thought he was joking, because it looked the same.. then he’s insisting it’s straight, at this point.. I kind of felt like something was wrong with him, like.. idk what he was looking at.. he called another barber over who.. that BARBER himself, told him it was indeed crooked.. he told my barber how to fix it, but when he attempted again.. my son told me it was hurting and I just called it quits and paid regretfully for the haircut without getting the results I was looking for.. i even asked him, if he thought he could fix it.. he said yeah no problem, next thing I know he’s making it worse.. it felt like I was having to coach him on how to get the line up straight.. it’s unfortunate because I actually liked the barbershop.. it’s clean, seems somewhat modern.. and obviously they do have some good barbers in there since there are more good reviews than bad.. I guess not everyone’s experience will be the same.. I wouldn’t suggest taking children here, for reference my son is 6.. he was perfectly still, and they still couldn’t...
Read moreThis barber shop is 2 minutes from my home, so I decided to give them a try. I called earlier in the day to find out if they would be available to cut my hair around 6 that evening and how much it would cost. I was told they would be available, and it would be $30. When I arrived, there were a few guys doing haircuts. A gentleman asked me who I was there to see. I told him I called earlier but didn't get a name. He told me to have a seat as the guy that was going to cut my hair was working on a cut currently. As quickly as I sat, he was done. Once I was in the chair, the gentleman who greeted me asked what kind of cut I wanted. I showed them a picture. Harell took his time and cut my hair as requested. He wanted to verify the length that I wanted, so he used translation on his phone to check with me (as he speaks Spanish). He was very polite, professional, and considerate. While I was getting my hair cut, a few other people came in. A lady that was sitting in a chair waiting and watching let me know that Harell did a great job with the cut. He verified that I approved of the cut before allowing me to leave the chair. During the whole process, Harell checked to see what I wanted (how I wanted my edges shaped, if he should trim it more, etc). I was pleased with the experience that I received. They also provide an ATM in the shop to get cash (which I didn't realize I would need). I recommend stopping by to...
