Food Lion — Local services in Jacksonville

This for the Food Lion on Piney Green & Halltown Rd. They r doing some remodeling at the present time which is going to be very nice when completed. So I also like to Thank the crew that is handling that. The manager Mr. Mark Amis is doing an OUTSTANDING JOB. Every time u look around u c Mark as if he is there 24/7. He handles the store operations to the T. Makes the necessary moves that it takes to keep his store Rate #1. His staff does an excellence job in performing there task also. All personal is polite & friendly & willing to give that extra hand with the customers to help them find whatever it is since the new changes. Not to mention the produce area is with the decorative style which draws u into the area to get this & that. These r some of Mr. Amis staff which r career orientated for a position like Mr. Amis. If I left some out it is I just forgot. U have Miss Claudia, Miss Dusty Morton, Miss Raven, Miss Lisa or Cindy??, those r the ones I c up front mostly. U have Mr. Alex in the meat dept. along Mr Kirk, plus they r a few more that I just don't recall there names. U have Mr. Torrence, Mr. Jeremy, Mr Roth, Miss Taylor in produce and Miss Amanda. The Food Lion staff is exemplary. They are very kind and if you can't find something, they will drop what they are doing to bring you to what you're looking for. They don't act annoyed by you interrupting whatever they're working on. They always seem overjoyed to assist their customers. There is a very large selection of groceries and some other essential things like toilet paper and personal hygiene items. The check out lines are fast moving, and the cashiers will always ask how your day is going, and offer friendly small talk without slowing down the check out process. They also have no problem scanning their personal MVP cards if you have forgotten to bring your own. The MPV cards save you a lot of money too. Very bad customer service in the deli!! Went in to purchase delivery meats. Two girls were working and there was one putting out product and the other standing with her head down at the back. I asked one if she was the only one working and all she said was no I'm not. She never stopped what she was doing to assist me or get the other ones attention. I stood there quite a few minutes. A man comes over and she stopped and assist him!! So when the other girl finally noticed me she ask what I needed and I told her. So I left to go get potato chips and when I walked away they got together and started laughing and acting a fool. So needless to say the meats that she sliced were never picked up.
