Horrible service. Waited 5 minutes in drive thru to order, which wasn't too bad, considering 2 cars were ahead of me. Placed a simple order of 8 pc tailgate deal, figuring it was noon and they were not very busy, and it IS a fast-food chicken place, that 8 pc of chicken would be pretty easy and quick. Paid at the drive-thru, where the lady gladly took my $24.60 (for 8 pc, 2 sides and 1/2 gallon tea... pricey but somewhat reasonable). Then it came... the classic "Go park over there and we'll bring the food out to you shortly". Definitely wasn't expecting that, as I didn't order anything unusual, and the 2 cars ahead of me drove off with their food. "Shortly" turned into 15 minutes, during which time I noticed 5 cars in a row behind me each drove off with their food as one would expect. Since it was 40 degrees and raining, I called the restaurant in lieu of walking inside to inquire about my long wait. After 3 attempts, I came to the realization that no one answers the phone at this location, so I was forced to walk in. By this time the D/T was backed up pretty good, so getting back in line was not an option. So, inside the store, I end up being the one blamed. The drive-thru lady insisted she had told me that there would be a 20-minute wait. I would have definitely asked for my money back and gone elsewhere if she had in fact told me that. When I pointed out that no one behind me or in front of me had to wait for their food, she qualified me as "the only one who ordered bone-in chicken". Really?! Translation: In order to get decent service here you need to pick from our assembly line of nuggets and don't expect we'll have "bone-in" chicken ready... a CHICKEN place. Come to find out, they had forgotten about me (which is what I thought). So I waited inside. While I waited, the manager rudely took the order of an elderly gentleman next to me. He asked for a 3-pc chicken dinner, and she loudly and impatiently told him that he needs to specify "bone-in".... "We serve different types of chicken here, sir... you need to tell me what kind you want." HELLO! He didn't say nuggets or tenders; he said pieces. Just rude as hell. After another 10 minutes of waiting inside, I finally got my food, but had lost my appetite. I brought the food back to the hotel with my 2 sons (one was reporting back to LeJeune and we were about to part ways for a year), because they were hungry and waiting. Otherwise I would have given a big HELL NO and demanded my money back. My sons said it was "pretty good" but since I had lost my appetite from the appalling service, I couldn't bring myself to give 2 stars to this rude and inefficient establishment. They cost me my appetite and precious time away from spending with my son before his deployment. Avoid this...
Read moreI came for lunch. My hisband ordered and the lady, Melissa does not know what she is doing. We have seen her there multiple times and every time she is always flustered. This time there were only 3 people inside at the time. When my husband ordered, she realized that the heat lamp was off since it wasn't hot when she poked the chicken. She couldn't figure out how to turn it on and had to ask someone. Then she said it would be about 15 minutes. We went back up to the counter 20 minutes later. She said that it was going to be 15-20 minutes more. We told her that she had said that 20 minutes earlier. Then she said that it was going to be 4 more minutes. We did not receive our food for another 12 more minutes. That is aweful service. I was in the middle of asking for a refund when we received our food. On a different note, this has been at least the 3rd time that I have gone to the bathroom and there are big puddles of water. The 1st time it was only in the bathroom. The 2nd time the puddles were bigger. This last time, there was a bunch of water in the hallway leading to the bathrooms and inside the bathrooms. I can understand the floors being wet from moping. This is not the reason, there are big puddles of water everywhere. This will be the last timw that I visit this location. I don't even know how they pass...
Read moreFirst time at this bojangles. Haven't had it in years and just moved to NC, so I wanted to try again and get a breakfast sandwich and a boberry biscuit. They asked me to pull to the side, which was fine. I waited literally 30 minutes for my food. First, waited 15 minutes for them to just bring me a bag of hash browns. I told the gentleman that my sandwich and biscuit were missing. He took the hash browns back and left. 5 minutes later, the young woman from the drive through comes out with just my buiscuits. Told her the rest of the food was missing. Wait another 10 minutes to finally get my food. I've honestly never had an experience like this and literally no care in the world from staff it seemed. I know a lot of places are understaffed right now and I never complain. I truly figured it was just to being short staffed but every once else (packed drive through) seemed to get their orders right away without issue. Which is good! Whatever was going on, I just hope they get a little better with communication with their costumers and also within their staff just so their not bringing out one thing and realizing they're missing the rest of the order for 30 minutes straight. Hopefully things get a little easier for them if they are understaffed! I might wait a little while to try bojangles...
