Soo this woman. She charges WAY too much for her time and bad quality service. I wanted platinum blonde highlights from a dark brown. I wanted it done in one sitting and she said that it would be $100 an hour since I wanted it done all at once.

That was fine with me as long as my hair was th way I wanted it.

I went to my appointment and paid her $400 all together for the results not being platinum at all. My hair looked good, but it wasn't even close to the color I wanted. Not at all. I understand it's hard to get a dark hair color to blonde. Especially a platinum which is the lightest. So understandably I paid her and told her I wanted another appointment. She wanted me to spend MORE money, even though I had already paid $400 for 3 and a half hours.

I wouldn't have even paid her, but she made me feel like it was my fault? Like she gave me her time and energy and I was taking advantage and in the wrong by telling her that the results didn't turn out at all like I wanted.

All in all I would not recommend this Salon Above by Liza to ANYONE.

She even cut my hair and did that wrong as well. I told her I wanted a trim and shaped into a V shape. It wasn't shaped AT ALL. So poorly...

If I could rate Salon Above by Liza with 100 stars I would. When my previous stylist moved I went without for almost 10 months. I found Liza after searching relentlessly for a new color specialist/stylist who was relentless in her pursuit of color correction knowledge, current trends and cutting edge skills. We met for an initial free consultation and I immediately new I had found exactly what I was looking for.

Fast forward almost a month later around my crazy travel nurse schedule and I finally got in the chair and was wowed with an amazing experience.

Liza is extremely sharp, super personable and absolutely gifted with color correction. She understood where I was coming from and what I’m looking to achieve as I transition in to my natural gray hair with a touch of pizzazz!

Her assistant Kim is an added bonus to the atmosphere of this cozy and welcoming salon!

I’m so incredibly pleased with the end result and I’m looking forward to my next appointments and watching the magic unfold.
