I have been in the food industry for quite some time, so I am hesitant to try new places because my palate expects a lot to be happy. This was my first experience at Le Petit. From start to finish, everything was on point. Their Christmas decor was so warm and inviting, as I drove by it caught my eye to consider dining there. The girl that took my order was friendly and helped me decide what to order based on her recommendations.

I started with the Cherry and cheese croissant which they toasted up for me and it was so buttery and TO DIE FOR. My beverage was the papaya ice tea which they brew individually, creating SO much bold tea flavor, yum!! TYRRELL was one of the servers, and he was extremely attentive to me as I had many questions for him throughout my time there. He even asked if I had added cheese to my sandwich and I said I hadn’t but I would like to try Brie on the sandwich- so he ran back to the kitchen and they added it for me. (Keep in mind this is a few days before Christmas and they are slammed and still managed to give an amazing customer service experience).

Next I had the rotisserie chicken sandwich (with roasted red peppers, crispy bacon and zucchini) which was also very flavorful. With how big the baguettes are, I thought it might be dry but it had a perfect balance, with whatever sauce they added— and the Brie I added was exquisite! As I sat there watching all the food come out to other tables I already started to plan my next visit with friends and family.

Totally worth the money, it’s not at all overpriced with todays market either—(Anyone who thinks this is overpriced is out totally of touch with reality!)

Thanks Le Petit and Tyrrell for a very special and enjoyable experience! This is what a dining...

The Le Petit Paris on Atlantic Beach is charming and 5 stars. This one is mediocre.

I ordered the egg sandwich and it came out weird on the croissant. It was like a ball of watery eggs. I am not sure how it was cooked but it was not very flavorful. The portion of the salad was also small - half - compared to Atlantic Beach - but the same price...

Why do they have a soda machine in this café? It is completely out of character. Ruins the vibe.

Why do they have the ugly wood seating? It looks awful. No charm. Reminds me of a Burger King.

Why would you be blaring loud rap music moments before opening the café and switching to quaint French music?

The whole reason I go to the one on Atlantic Beach is the ambiance and the food. It feels like you are transported to another place full of charm.

This café is like a Burger King version of the original. Better than a Starbucks but far from the pleasant charm of Atlantic Beach.

Get rid of the Soda machine. Get rid of the awful bench seating. Cook the food right and give decent portions. Don't play rap music before opening. Have management go to Atlantic Beach and ask, "How can we make our location just as charming as this one?"

Update: I added one more star after the reply from the management explaining the wood benches. Still, I prefer the other location which has...

I am impressed. I like the atmosphere, how it gives you a feel for Paris, but it doesn't overdo the antique look popular in most French Cafes. There are beautiful touches to make it more welcoming, amongst the leftover seating, style and colors from the previous owners. The crossiant was perfect, flaky and with a crisp outer layer and rich inner layers. The chicken salad was superb, delicate and flavorful, with clearly fresh ingredients. I loved the dressing on the greens, I hope it was made here! The macarons have a nice flavor, though the texture of the cookie was a bit stiff. I love macarons, but most places don't keep them stored properly so they become stale by the end of the day, which I fear would be the case here if you ordered one in the evening. Maybe store the stock in an airtight container, and just display a few to showcase the flavors? I enjoyed my Americano, it was a bit acidic, similar to Bold Bean coffee, but easier to drink than that. I also ordered a Pain au Chocolat to go, the flavors were excellent, the layers light, airy and crispy. I hope they are able to keep up the quality, for this is going on my list of recommendations for people in Mandarin! Overall a lovely experience, and I look forward to coming back and trying more...

I enjoy food that is full of flavor. As you can see from the pic, the Quiche was nearly burned on top and the center was bland. A Quiche Lorraine should have bacon, cheese and onion or green onion in the egg mixture. There were tiny bits of bacon visible, but not enough to actually taste or flavor the quiche. If there was onion in it, it was unrecognizable and tasteless and it was not cheesy enough to actually enjoy. The top, in my opinion was way over done and should have been sprinkled with grated Parmesan or something similar to give the quiche a boost of flavor. I liked how they brewed the green tea and served it in an individual glass pot; however, they did not allow the tea bag to steep long enough and all it did was color the water. I would have enjoyed the tea more if it had stronger tea flavor. I will not be in a hurry to go back.

This restaurant is a slice of Paris. From the inside decor to the music, all the way to the food and owner, it brings the feeling of dining at a Parisian cafe in Jax, Florida. The chef is actually from France, which definitely adds authenticity to the place. Often times my experience has been whenever visiting an establishment with Paris in its name in Jax, Fl, that it is run by anyone but French people. The espresso was delicious. My husband had the Le Pompidou sandwich, and he said he could taste the distinct flavor of French cuisine. He enjoyed it a lot. I didn’t buy anything to eat because I’m a vegan and couldn’t accommodate. The chef was very apologetic and said to follow on Instagram because he’s going to add vegan options to the menu. The customer service was friendly, professional, and caring. I very much appreciate that the chef double checked the ingredients of the bread to see if it’s vegan or not. I’m gonna be back for the espresso, but I’m also looking for to see what vegan options with a French twist the chef adds to the menu 🙂
