How does such good food come from small food truck? I don’t know but it was FANTASTIC. My son and I ventured to the FKT on a lark, and what a great lark it was. We moved to this part of town recently, so we have enjoyed trying new spots. Some of those spots we return to and some are one and done. Fiery Kitchen Taco is a keeper and we are already making plans to return. Service is personal and quick, parking is plentiful at the dry cleaners or nearer to the truck. But you really know about the food: Burrito with Steak - tender chunks of steak, combined with all the fixings. Delicious Bang Bang Taco - perfectly cooked shrimp with a sauce with a kick. If you want a bigger kick, try the hot sauce they include. (I am guessing it may be Bang-Bang-Bang Sauce,) Shrimp Tacos - I am guessing they are good, but my order got confused and the two shrimp tacos I ordered were misplaced and instead I got…… Ground Beef Tacos - I don’t eat red meat, but my two bites of this may convert me. They were PHENOMENAL. Perfect meal: Anything, but I thought the tacos were really spectacular. Maybe the only reason you should not go here is because you don’t live good food at a great price. .

I see the high reviews for this taco truck, so was excited to try it. Unfortunately we had a bad experience, but are willing to try it again. We were the only customers on a Sunday evening. There were three of us and It took a long time to get our food. Two of us ordered nachos (different types) and one ordered tacos. We waited under the tent for a long time. Way too long for what we ordered. We took the food to someone's house, a mile away. The nachos were terrible. It seems like it's hard for nachos to be terrible, but they were. They were SMOTHERED in a bland cheese sauce. There were very few veggies underneath (lettuce, tomato, plus the veggies that one of us had asked for as a substitute for meat). It was hard to eat these nachos and both of us had to throw most of it away. The tacos looked amazing. They were good (4/5 stars) but not fabulous. Again, I see the many 5 star reviews here, so we're willing to give it another try, though we're not feeling very motivated to do so. Perhaps this was a badly trained employee. If we go again, I'll update this review. And I won't order nachos.

HIDDEM GEM REPORT! I really don't want to write a review because I don't want to share this hidden gem! As you can see - 11 reviews so far - 5 stars. The tacos are amazing! The owner is gracious, service oriented and hospitable.. He is there just about every day. I have eaten here several times and the quality of the tacos is high, consistent and value oriented. The tacos in the photo are the Fiery y Fiery, The Shroom and The Shrimp. $12 for these 3 amazing tacos. I usually can only eat 2 and save one for later. I have never tried Horchata before, but the owner gave me a sample and its delicious - give it a try.

Previous 5 star review.

It’s been about 2 months since we have visited and this was our 5th time patronizing this food truck. The food used to be real solid. As a Houstonian, I think know good Mexican as I grew up eating that as a main staple for 25 years. Something has changed in the new year. Prices have jumped, I get that, and don’t mind paying for good quality food.

I got the Pork and Chicken Plate and Fiery Taco. My wife got the Chicken Quesadilla.

The plate has changed, reduced the items in it to just meat rice and beans. The beans were an improvement but the rice and meat had declined significantly. The chicken was cooked well but lacked seasoning. The pork was extremely dry and overcooked. The rice had a weird taste and a pile of mush. The corn tortillas were rock hard. The hardly gave me any salsas.

For the fiery taco, the steak was extremely chewy, gristly, and overcooked. The shrimp was cooked well but I don’t think I even I got a full single small shrimp. The avocado has been reduced to a couple tiny pieces and not the adequate slices of before. I wouldn’t pay more than $3-4 for this anywhere else, let alone the $6.50 they are now charging.

The quesadilla was probably the best thing on the menu but I only got a nibble since it wasn’t my order.

Overall, a huge decline. No longer a go to spot. Food took 25 minutes with only one order ahead. The employees I am used to were not there tonight, so maybe it was the D crew in. They also took away the kids menu.

Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back to try to see if there is any improvement. I will have to stick to all the other sub par Mexican food Jacksonville has to offer, but maybe, just maybe a little tastier and consistent than this food truck. I hate to say it but maybe I’ll have to revisit Don Juan’s which was a tragedy of...

If you're looking for delicious Mexican-style tacos, Fiery Kitchen Taco is the place to be! From the moment you step up, you're greeted with a warm and inviting welcome, and the friendly staff are always happy to make recommendations and answer any questions.

The menu offers a fantastic selection of tacos, each one bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. Whether you're a fan of traditional options like carne asada and al pastor or you prefer something a little more unique, like their amazing shrimp tacos, there's something for everyone here.

One of the standout features of Fiery Kitchen Taco is their amazing service. The staff are always on hand to make sure you have everything you need, and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and appreciated. They're knowledgeable about the menu and always willing to offer recommendations, which makes the ordering process a breeze.

Another fantastic thing about Fiery Kitchen Taco is their affordable prices. Despite the high quality of the food and service, the prices are more than reasonable, making it a great spot for a quick and delicious meal that won't break the bank.

Overall, I highly recommend Fiery Kitchen Taco to anyone looking for amazing Mexican-style tacos and great service at an affordable price. Don't hesitate to give it a try – you won't be...
