I took my late fathers cuckoo clock to the Clock Shop for repair. The first trip it came home with one of the weights changed out to a much larger one. Why? It was supposed to help the music play faster, but the music never played fast in the first place. The second time it came home with a smaller weight in that location that looked nothing like the original. I now had a clock with two original weights and this odd looking weight. On the third trip all three of the weights were changed out to these odd looking weights. To this day it breaks my heart to look at my fathers clock with these cheap, cheesy weights hanging from it. I will never sell it, but not having the original weights greatly decreases the value...
