Kohl's — Local services in Jasper

While the merchandise of one Kohl's store is the same as another Kohl's store a thousand miles away, this location stands out to us as a clear winner.

The store is very well stocked and organized, making locating the specific merchandise you are looking for easy. We have found the store clean and well staffed on every visit.

What really stands out to put this location as a winner is the amazing customer service we have received from every staff member we encounter. As an example, this past Sunday, we were traveling out of town and in Jasper. It was early and we arrived as the store opened so my wife could find a pair of Asics tennis shoes she has been looking for in her size with a specific color theme. We had been unsuccessful in finding the exact shoe she wanted in her size in any other store.

We did not see a match and were starting to walk back toward the door, and a female staff member stopped and asked if there was anything she could help us find. We told her no, we needed 6.5 woman's shoe in a certain style and they did not have it. She offered to look for us and said at times, customers will put a box in the wrong location. A few moments later she returned with the exact shoe my wife wanted in a size 6.5 and it fit like a glove.

The five-star customer service did not stop there, when we went to the counter, the young lady at the register helped us with adding up several Kohl's Cash receipts to give us a total of $25 off our purchase price.

The bottom line, we can buy Asics Shoes from any retailer for the same cost. We can also go directly to the Asics website and purchase directly. As a customer, we have many, many choices. We chose to continue to patronize Kohl's because of their fantastic customer service, even if the price is different. Other Kohl's stores should look at this Jasper, Indiana location and work to mimic what they do every day to WOW...

In early 2021 I had a funeral to go to. I went to Kohl’s to buy some nice pants and a shirt. I was told I couldn’t try them on because of Covid. I told the worker it was for my grandma’s funeral. Don't care for synthetic fibers, which most all of their clothes are made from. Overpriced, for synthetics, unless items are "on sale." They don't carry electric blankets. Pretty decent shoe selection, but again, slightly over-priced, in my opinion. Sales staff are hard to come by and seem pretty disinterested. Check out staff are mostly very friendly...
