from the onset, the welcoming vibe of the local community was palpable, making visitors feel right at home. The array of marble sculptures on display was nothing short of breathtaking, showcasing the immense talent and dedication of the artisans. I was particularly impressed by the live demonstrations, where artists carved intricate designs into blocks of marble, giving us a glimpse into their creative process.
While the festival offered a variety of food stalls, I felt there was room for a wider range of culinary options to cater to diverse palates. Additionally, while the event was well-organized overall, clearer signage could have been beneficial, especially for first-time attendees like myself.
That being said, the rich history of marble in Jasper was evident throughout the festival, and it was an educational and inspiring day out.
