(Inn only, did not go to tavern) Overview: Friendly service, clean room, excellent location. A bit confusing in terms of locked lobby, multiple phone numbers, no coffee maker in room, etc, but as soon as I read my email (reading is fundamental after all- that’s on me) none of it was really a problem. They were very accommodating with coffee. VERY worth the price!!!!! Excellent location, short walking distance to downtown where we enjoyed our meal at old mule house and some beverages at hive and vine. Please note that there is no coffee* in the room and you will need their email the day before your reservation to access your room with a code. I arrived around 6 pm and was a bit confused until I found the other email in my other mail folder. * We called right at 9:30 am when they supposedly put away the coffee in the main lobby of the hotel, which I have not been into. They were very nice and brought us three cups rather quickly, but it’s an unusual process. We had a room with two queen beds, a balcony that overlooked some greenery, a table with two chairs, a private bathroom (no bath, but really nice shower), and a small mini fridge and microwave. The tv did not work (it turned on, but remained a black screen no matter what I pressed), but that didn’t bother us. Please also note the outlet by the table works via the light switch. Woke up in the middle of the night to my phone being dead since we turned off the light. We definitely plan to come back. The location to nice food/ not too far from Dahlonega (a family favorite). We originally booked this for its proximity to both Dahlonega and the Barrel House Coffee place in Ball Ground GA. That coffee was so good we had to make a point to come back even though we live a bit far. The area is really cute, too, and you can get some Mountain Views.

Kind of let down here. I must first say that in comparing the food to Bavaria, in southern Germany, which we visit often. I was glad to see some items such as Jäger Schnitzel but was ultimately let down with the quality. I tasted more of the breading than the meat. It was also served with a tomato chutney which I never saw once in Europe. We ordered some southern dishes like the fries green tomatoes with a pimento cheese which was yummy. We also ordered the WD cheese plate which i guess is supposed to copy obatzda in Germany. I don’t mind it tasting different but it wasn’t the same. The cheese was hard and brittle and served cold. The dish is supposed to be spreadable on pretzels. This was served with flavored bread sticks which distracted from the cheese flavor. We ordered some Austrian wine which was delicious but carried a price tag of 36 dollars. After spending almost 200 I can say I was not impressed. The location is very charming with an antique decor. We do need more local restaurants. Lastly the service was slow and forgetful even messing up my order, which they fixed after a minor debate over the definition of tomatoes. I prolly will come back and give them another try and update this review.

We spent a weekend in Jasper for a wedding. We had events on either side of the wedding hosted at The Woodbridge Inn & Tavern. Our friends and family filled all the rooms. The staff was super accommodating and worked hard to make each event go off without a hitch. They provided access to rooms prior to check-in for welcome bags. We hosted an open house on Friday afternoon on the back patio that was great. Food was displayed beautifully, was delicious and everyone enjoyed. Bartender was friendly and communicated well. We followed that up with a private dinner for the wedding party. The taco bar was a hit. Servers were attentive and friendly. On Sunday we had a brunch in the garden. The set up was fun and the food was delicious. Everyone raved about the biscuits and the grits. Again, staff was super attentive and friendly and service went smoothly even on a super busy Mother's Day. We'd not visited prior to the wedding weekend and were pleased with the darling atmosphere of the town of Jasper and the Inn & Tavern. Rooms were clean and comfortable, well equipped with amenities and dog friendly. Working with Leslie and Katherine was easy. We couldn't be happier with the service and how the weekend went.

Last week, my husband and I stayed three nights at this quaint inn. Our room was in the Lodge portion; we had the Oak Room (#7). It was a very spacious room. Upon entering the room, I noticed a tray on the bed holding the Guest Manual & Room Service Menus, a TV remote, a pen, and a pad of paper. It looked lovely! We had a king-size bed, a loveseat, a table w/two chairs, a decent-sized closet area, and a bathroom. There was a nice assortment of toiletries. The king bed was comfortable and my, oh my, six pillows! No need to ask for more pillows like in some hotels. The heat worked fine (did not use air conditioning on this trip). There was a ceiling fan as well and that worked also. The grounds at this Inn are very well kept with nice landscaping (rose bushes were blooming and very beautiful). We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit on a cool night while listening to the music playing outside. We also played cornhole which is provided on-site by Woodbridge. ||The Woodbridge Tavern serves such great-tasting food that I said I could eat there every night that they're open! We enjoyed the Brussels Blossoms appetizer with amazing flavors on the first night. Our entrees were Boxcar from Savannah (good-sized portion) and Not Your Grandma's Meatloaf (I loved how it was prepared/cooked). On night #2, we enjoyed Pickens Classic (flavors are to die for!) and Bistro Steak (delicious Chimichurri sauce). For lunch one day, we tried the Cuban sandwich and loved it. All the sides that came with the meals were excellent. The cocktails are blended with perfection...My favorite was the "I Know the Owner." An Espresso Martini was ordered, as well as a Spicy Watermelon Margarita. Thumbs up to the whole crew for making our stay and dining a wonderful...
