Let me begin by saying some people realize being nice is more important than anything else. We’ve all met these people, saying no is not in their vocabulary. My wife and I were on a trip to move our daughter back from college in Tuscaloosa. Of course we were pulling a trailer and of course our Yukon blew its transmission. Stuck on a Saturday before Christmas we had very few options. These guys are a Uhaul station on the side. They had the only possible truck we could rent. Problem was, it wasn’t available until Sunday, and they are closed on Sunday. Sam and his son told us they we would open on Sunday for us and they did. Could not have been any more decent. Let me tell you about Sam and Sydney!!! A true blessing!! Headed to California from Georgia. We hooked our car up to the uhaul ourselves and wasn't comfortable with the hook up. So when we stopped in jasper we looked up uhaul and sydney answered and said he'd be right here fir us. He even had to make a trip back to his uhaul to get us hooked up rigjt because we were all the way messed up!!! Giving someone ease and confidence that everything is good with the car trailor was MORE THAN A BLESSING!! Happy for people like them. I wish I'd had the great experience that everyone else seems to have had. It made me sad to see appliances, shelves, building materials etc rotting in the rain, and when asked if certain items were for sale, the answer was always no. I just moved and was in desperate need of furniture, but everything was weirdly not for sale. If I wanted a stained t shirt ir broken clock, it was available but nothing else I asked about. You'd think the owner would sell something to aversion in need but they would rather it sit outside and rot. Probably won't go back. I've been shopping flea markets, thrift stores and yard sales for years and what I've learned is that most things have their price. Not here.
