Me and my wife went for lunch. The pork and pineapple quesadillas were absolutely delicious! We also ordered the platter that comes with flank steak chipotle chicken and shrimp. We had to send it back because the steak and chicken were both completely overcooked and bone dry and to my surprise wasn't even seasoned ☹️ it was like cutting into a dry boot I really have to say!! I have had flank steak all over the world and it's supposed to be well marinated and seasoned with a slight char to it. We also had the avocado dip which was absolutely wonderful! The queso cheese was also wonderful! The waitress was very polite 👍 they did take the meal back and we got the pork and pineapple quesadillas in place of it. First, we are relocated from Houston (Texas not Alabama!) so our taste of Mexican food is totally different! Service here was great! And the food was good. I got #35 - chicken enchilada, small chimichanga and cheese quesadillo. The enchilada was really good. While the other 2 were tasty, they weren't what we would necessarily call by those names. Hubby had the steak fajita and enjoyed it but flavors were not as a Mexican restaurant in Houston would be. Their Pico de Gallo was definitely different. We are used to Pico being tomato, onion, jalapeño and cilantro based - without the cilantro it just wasn't as good.

Wow! I was on a long and perilous journey across the south to get to my destination of Florida. Just when I thought that I was going to give up and my bleak car ride would drive me to misery, I happened to stumble across this fine establishment Los Reyes. At first, I was skeptical because there seemed to be no patrons (I later found out that this was due to my late arrival of 8:30, thirty minutes before they close.)
