Although many things are listed on the menu, pizza is what most guests eat here. There is a decent selection of loaded pizzas, many inspired by local or regional flavors, which is definitely a plus. Do not forget about the beer menu! Somewhat confusing is the pricing for pizzas, because listed prices are for the larger, about 14-inch pizza, while personal size pizzas run for half of that (not clearly mentioned on the menu). And the personal size pizza is good to feed one person, maybe with some leftovers too.
Two pizzas shown in my photos are the Sweet Margueritte, I would call that a classic, simple pizza. The second pizza was of the Built-Your-Own style, which is also of the classical type, but with just the right amount of pesto glaze and three toppings: mushrooms (standard), spinach (premium) and capicola ham (super premium). Pizzas arrived maybe 15 minutes later, they looked great, as can be seen in the attached photos, stretchy thick layer of mozzarella, plus selected ingredients. The crust was relatively thin but very good, soft and crispy at the same time, in fact one of the better pizzas I had in months. That oil-glazed crust was really unique, had some similarities with matzos, but it is definitely worth or trying it, or in my case, to visit the Pie Factory again. The restaurant was clean, while service was efficient, just the right mix of everything⊠thus...
Read moreWe ordered online for curbside pickup and arrived 10 min earlier than the predicted time our order was given. I texted when we arrived as directed, and sat for 20 minutes. No text, no visit, I had even supplied a description of our vehicle and parked in one of the spots for curbside but then watched servers go in and out of the door. After going 10 minutes past the predicted time with absolutely no contact I walked in. (So much for curbside pickup.) There were two servers standing by the bar where I was directed, I gave my name and mentioned the delay and no contact. She stated she didn't pay attention to the terminal and took my order out of a hot bag (like used for delivery) that did a poor job of living up to that name. My cheese bread did not come with sauce, and both the cheese sticks and pizza were cold. The taste was "OK" but cut oddly and poorly with the toppings in clusters, not evenly spread over to pizza. I had been waiting for an opportunity to eat something different and not from the two big franchise places, so this was extremely disappointing. Thus, OK marks for food but the service spoiled it. I guess there is still Johnny Brusco's a few...
Read moreAfter hearing rave reviews from friends we decided to try it out for ourselves. We tried the cheezy bread, The Sink pizza, and a grilled chicken salad. The portions were very generous, the salad was fresh and large, and everything was just overall fantastic. The pizza was perfect. Tons of toppings with just the right amount of sauce on a thin and crispy crust. The ingredients for everything were super fresh and flavorful unlike other pizza restaurants in town. We will definitely be going here when we are craving pizza; there is no other restaurant in Jasper that compares. Just give it a try, if you're worried about the speciality pizzas, just try a simple pepperoni or cheese pizza to taste test their ingredients.
Oh, and when pulling a slice off of the pizza the cheese looked like it was out of a Ninja...
