I will say and ask what most are thinking . . there are people there to fix what is broken and then sell. An office chair was 20.00 and I decided to think on it because it has a broken roller/wheel. I went back and it has TWO broken wheels and price is 25.00? A cabinet, no frills, inlay or antique. No doors, glass nor perfect. Was 22.00 and today is 35.00? Then a 15" clock for wall is 40.00? This is things donated . . I never found gold on any of it. Shocked on the prices and don't understand how this helps anyone unless spending too much on the houses for the families from Guatemala? Fact . . a man, woman and children come from Guatemala get a house thru Habitat when I could not, due to not having any children. He now has two more houses for other family members who also come from Guatemala and a business 15 years later. This bunch of people are neighbors of my parents and Grandmother. Go look on Montana Street. My parents and Grandmother are original land owners from 55 years ago. Yet I have lived in Jefferson City my whole life and can't get a home to call my own? And have to pay high prices for used furniture? Talk about feeling like a second...

The Re-Store has been revamped for a more satisfying customer experience. The layout features furniture, home decor, small and large appliances, and building supplies/equipment. Each time I go, there are different items displayed for sale. Rapid turnover is to be expected, so if you find something you like, you'd better buy it-it might not be there the next time you go. If you are lucky, and you're looking for something specific-and find it- it just may be marked down 50%! The volunteer staff are phenomenal! The Re-Store is equipped to take credit and debit cards. All proceeds go to a good cause....

I want to give a big thank you to the ladies who made it possible for me to buy the rolling walker with the seat I really needed but couldn't really afford. You made me cry, in a good way. The workers here are the best, friendly,helpful, and always have a smile.. I have been coming here for over 10 years, when ever we need something for the house we go there first.
