Pita Pit — Restaurant in Jefferson City

I'd driven past this place every time I went to church. It's a little afterthought tacked on to the end of a big convenience store and gas station. You walk in and the front looks like a SUBWAY Store, with all the veggies and condiments lined up under a hood; but it turns out you have to walk to the back to order. They have a guide showing how big the two sizes of pitas are, but that can be deceptive, because it doesn't show how fat they get when they're full! I got the Hawaiian, because it looked the least spicy. I requested they add avocados to it. It was great! The grilled chicken was tender, and the pineapple was grilled to perfection! The ham was just a little too salty, and I didn't find any avocado. But I had ordered a large, and it was literally bursting at the seams. That thing fed me two meals! I probably won't go back, but only because I have such a delicate stomach. The friend I was with got herself a small pita with a more spicy filling, and just raved over the flavor! Service: It was my kid's dinner choice after a rough day. I was tired and they were persistent! The 2 girls working were incredibly helpful and kind. They made us feel very welcomed and from order to finish it only took about 5 minutes for 3 regular sized pitas to be prepared. The healthy choices were welcomed and I loved that grilled veggies were an option although I didn't get any this time, I'll have to try them when I return! The prices were very fair and I fed myself and two kids(they got the regular sized pitas) for $20. They were even nice enough to let my kids sample some sauces.

Food: I ordered the buffalo chicken and it was great. I was impressed with the regular portion. It's was more than enough to fill me up! My kids ate theirs and considering the amount of fresh veggies I ordered in them I'm pretty happy about that! All and all a great experience!

Jeremy I contacted you about my experience a few years ago and left a review on another platform. You weren’t receptive to my feedback then and were rude. I won’t be providing anymore opportunity for dialogue. But basically your business didn’t handle the pandemic well and treated your customers poorly who preferred to wear masks per CDC guidelines. Your employees didn’t wear masks or appear to do anything to prevent the spread of Covid. They may not have been mandated but nonetheless it was a poor business choice for your customers who care about things like that. But given the region not many people...
