After having an emergency c-section in October and becoming septic shortly after—requiring readmission and another procedure—I was left with extremely limited mobility and significant pain. Even getting out of bed was excruciating.
From January to May, I tried a strength training class elsewhere, but it didn’t help my core strength or mobility the way I had hoped. I felt stuck—physically and mentally.
Since starting classes here, everything has changed. Over the past two months, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my core strength, stability, balance, and flexibility. For the first time since my surgery (and honestly in my whole life!), I feel stronger and more confident in my ability to move, strengthen, and recover. Most importantly, this space has supported not just my physical healing, but also my mental health. I truly look forward to every class!

Read moreToday was my first time to attend a Restore 1 class. I have had several injuries in the past couple of years, with the latest being a torn hamstring. I thought it a good thing to start back with a Restore class as my comeback. Best to have knowledge in this area so that I might treat the ongoing aches and pains ahead of an already aging body so that I might live a fuller and healthier life. Rebecca gave the class today. She was clear and precise in her instructions, and when something was too painful for me, she quickly showed me how to modify it so that I would still benefit. I do appreciate how the instructors at the Jenks Club Pilates can take my doubts and turn them into...
Read moreTerrible customer service. The instructors are very condescending and rude. They are not welcoming to people who are looking to start Pilates. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want a healthy and supportive environment, because you will not find that here. Sidney the manager is argumentative and does not listen to the customers who pay to attend classes. Kurt the owner refuses to work with any customers that have issues with the instructors or managers. Kurt said “I trust the instructors more than you” and does not listen to feedback. At the end of the day Pilates should be fun and motivating, but here it is the opposite. For the amount you have to pay to attend, I would suggest finding somewhere that isn’t filled...
