Self check out lady is exceptionally rude. She's annoying every time I shop here in the morning before going to my office. This morning, I ran in for a salad and two peaches. The peaches didn't have labels. When I typed in "Peach" into the search string when checking out, the system said assistance was required. When she finally decided to get up from where she was sitting to see what I needed, she asked what kind of peaches I had. I said that I believed they were Porter peaches. She then asked where I picked them up and I indicated. Then she decided to call Produce to come get my peaches and verify their type. The young man who appeared to check my peaches was very kind, he asked where I had gotten my peaches, walked with me over to the area, went back to her and said they were in fact, Porter peaches. She actually stated that she didn't believe that because the peaches were so large. So essentially, she implied that I was LYING about the type of peaches I selected and wanted them verified, due to her apparent expertise in peach size? She couldn't be bothered to just go over and look at the peaches, which were not far from the check out area, but called three times for Produce to come over and get the peaches.
I don't know what sort of criminal element she deals with in there on a daily basis, but she behaves in this manner every time I go in there to shop in the morning. Do the criminals primarily utilize the self check out area? Does she feel important treating everyone in this way?
Today was the last time I'm going to shop at this store. Whole Foods and Sprouts are on my route to the office and I will go to one of those from now on.
I am a sales director in Jenks and dress professionally every work day. So its not as if I visually appear suspicious. I'm not treated in this manner at any other business in Jenks and am a member of the Chamber of Commerce. I wouldn't go to this much trouble to write all of this but if she's behaving towards me like this, then it's happening quite often and it's negatively...
Read moreI really want to give my 5 stars to a rep named Mason. If he gets to see this, please let him know that his service to me was very well appreciated. I told him while I was there, and I found a manager and commended him as well. I've been buying a lot of my seafood from Reasor's these days. I had stopped shopping at Reasor's a while back, but started again. Since the "Social Distancing" has been in place, the store has been not as busy, but they typically don't get unbearably crowded - makes shopping a much more pleasant experience. I went to the Jenks location and didn't realize their seafood was packaged and placed on the fridge. I walked up to the seafood section, there were a few staff members there in a huddle just chatting with the lights off, and I asked if they had lobster. One of the reps pointed me to the freezer at the end of an aisle. He shouted across the counter, "It's the first one right after you pass the X section." MASON, walked from behind the counter and in my direction, then simply said, "I'll take you there." He walked me straight to the location...and I'm glad he did as I was about to turn at the wrong aisle. There were no lobsters in the icebox, so Mason asked me to give him a minute, asked me about the weight and number of lobster tails I wanted...and he went in the back, packaged me up what I asked for and brought them to me. This may seem simple to a lot of people, but to me, that meant a whole lot.
