Very poor service. In the beginning of January, I noticed a man holding a sign for Anthony’s jewelry for jewelry and watch repair. In luck, I had a Gucci watch needing to be repaired. Me and my fiancé went in and the guy told us that it would take two weeks for the estimate, no problem. 2 weeks go by and we come back. He tells us it will be $250 no more for repair. We accept, and he tells us to come back in another 2 weeks for it to be fixed. Well, we call and they inform us that this watch will not be done for another 2 weeks, as they are waiting for a part. Again another 2 weeks go by. We call and they state it is still not done, then blaming it on the brand. They ended up having my watch for 7 weeks not adding the 2 weeks for the estimate so 9 weeks total. Me and my fiancé go to the store mid March. We ask for a discount, considering they originally told us it would only take 2 weeks for the repair, and we also stated were not happy with the service. A Young woman at the counter tells us no then we asked to speak to a manager, and she tells us they are not available. We end up paying $267.50 For this watch and are very disappointed. I tried calling the store to speak to a manager and nothing. Overall aggravated that they advertise “ jewelry and watch repair” but lie about time and service. I took a gold bracelet to this Anthony Jewelry on US1 across from Walmart in PSL , to repair a gold bracelet that broke in half ! When it was returned it was shorter ! I had bought my 3 bracelets together all were same lengths ! Now this repaired bracelet is too short to get off without opening clasp ? And where is my extra gold that he took off ? These were going to be a gift for my Grand Daughter now this repaired one does not fit ! And where is my Gold ? With the price if Gold it belongs to me ! He says he only repaired ?
