AUDREY WOLFE! First off, remember that name; she is incredible. I had thought about proposing to my girlfriend for a while, we would go into jewelry stores and try on rings for fun. When we walked into the International Diamond Center it was a whole different experience. We were greeted by the staff and then met Audrey. She began getting to know us and asking questions, but not haggling us like some used car sales associate; she was genuine and full of life, you could tell she loved her job. Over the course of the next hour or so she listened to my girlfriend’s thoughts and my particulars on the quality of diamond I would like. I even up front told her I was not purchasing and we were just shopping, it did not affect her in the slightest, she still helped and was fully engaged. We ended up leaving that day and I knew not only had we found the ring (finally!), but more importantly who I wanted to buy it from. People do not realize that when you buy a ring you’re almost marrying that store as well; you are intertwined with them forever in terms of sizing, polishing, checkups, it’s like finding a doctor. Over the course of the next few weeks Audrey and I were able to text, which was nice with my work schedule being hectic. She was always responsive and answered all my weird worries and questions. Eventually, I made it up there and purchased a ring. Audrey walked me through the entire process and even told me the best weekend to come because they were having a financing sale (which I took full advantage of) and seriously went above and beyond. Finally, months later I proposed and even after all was done Audrey texted me because she knew when I was doing it and checked in with the ring, which worked because we had to have it resized and she was right there! Unfortunately, not much of this will be pleasant. My fiancé purchased an Emerald engagement ring and it was never right from the beginning. I called them to find out procedures for having it sized down smaller and the gentleman over the phone told me to come down as they could size it down while I wait. I drove to them ( after a 30 minute drive) Once there, I worked with a man who (clearly a smoker) was the same man on the phone (cannot remember his name) and he Took the ring from me to bring it out back to the man who’d be doing the actual work. Then he told me I’m sorry but you will have to actually leave it here and come back another day to pick it up. Wait.. what?

So I left the ring and drove home. As soon as I got home, the same guy is calling me again saying they couldn’t size it down so, I said I would drive back again to pick up - again ! We’re up to 1.5hrs driving Time now. When I arrived back at the store for the second time, he told me he could order me a new ring In a smaller size but I Would have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to get it!? I thought that was ridiculous and did not want to be missing my engagement ring that long. He said I could keep my current ring, however if it was damaged, I would be responsible for any and all damages. I said I needed to discuss the options with my fiancé and I Asked them to put on a temporary sizer (tacky looking) But it was a quick solution. He said he would have somebody call me about this complete and utter disaster, however I am reminded now as the ring was presented to me on Valentine’s Day 2019 and it is now Valentine’s Day 2020 that no one ever did!!! My husband had a hard time to chose a diamond gift for me for our 5 years anniversary . He came to the IDC in PSL twice and spent there a lot of time choosing the right gift for me . He told me that he was assisted by Debbie and she was very nice , professional and patient with him . I appreciate my husband’s choice, but few days later I came to the IDC to see what else does they have , I liked the gift but was not in love with that ( just a woman :) ) . When I came to the IDC I saw by my eyes how professional, client oriented and well organized employees working there . I also came with my 2 kids (2 and 4 yo ) , they were behaving good , but not the best of course , but everyone at that store was very nice and kind that even my kids felt so good and very welcomed at that place . Debbie was great with me too , she listen to me and tried to show me different options. I did not know much about diamonds that time, and Debbie was very patient with me too (even we spent about 2-3 hours choosing the right diamond and the ring ) , she went with me through all the process of choosing diamond and explained a lot. I don’t want to go so much in to details because my review would be be so very long this way . I just want to say it was such a pleasure to meet very professional and customer oriented people, it definitely was my best experience at jewelry store . I appreciate Debbi and the Store Manager for being so very professional and flexible to me , and I appreciate my husband for such a beautiful anniversary present !
