30+ years ago a smoked cannabis a few times, and back then we had no idea what we were smoking. We just knew it was marijuana over the last two years. I became educated on how well marijuana can treat certain issues that one might have. So, out of curiosity, I decided to see if I can find some thing that can help me sleep because I have not slept a solid night in over 10 years. Due to a Trumatic brain injury the part of my brain that dictates my sleep was affected severely to a point where I would only get, maybe, if I was lucky, three hours of sleep a night. Long story short, I walked into. 1634 funk dispensary and spoke with the owner Jeffery about my sleeping issue or a lack of. He suggested a strain? And explained to me all of the properties of the flower that might just help me sleep and all I can say is thank you it’s been a very, very very long time since I have been able to keep my eyes closed for more than 30 minutes without my brain waking me up. I have tried every prescription from the doctor to help me sleep for over a decade, and nothing worked. Some of that medication even made me very agitated and made me feel so terrible for days after. So since this past Saturday night when I had smoked it for the first time in all these years I have slept like a baby and didn’t even get up once I can’t even begin to explain how my quality of life over the last few days has improved I feel refreshed, I can focus I don’t feel tired all day from lack of sleep I can function and make decisions without second-guessing myself I guess I’m trying to say is thank you Jeffery for explaining to me in detail, and helping me to finally feel normal again. I am a US Army veteran who suffered a traumatic brain injury that left quite a bit of residual, which reminds me every minute of the day, how lucky I really am. It also reminds me of how angry I am, because of the fact that I cannot keep my eyes closed and sleep longer than 30 minutes without waking up. Well today I can honestly say I have slow Saturday night Sunday night and Monday night just from two or three little drags off of a cannabis cigarette just to give you an idea on how much I prayed for sleep. I would’ve given my right arm to be able to sleep normal again I’m so glad I didn’t have given my right arm but that is just to get an idea on how bad it was. So thank you Jeffery for your knowledge and direction. What I had experienced at 1634 funk dispensary was very personal. I did not feel like I was waiting on line and a fast food restaurant. I used to live in California and spent some time in Colorado, so I've been to a lot of bud shops. Each shop has it's own strengths. Some are beautiful, some really knowledgeable, some offer a great value, and some carry truly excellent products. Good shops usually have two or three of those qualities. This is the first place I've seen that has all four.
