I have accompanied my mother to this office once before. First and foremost as other reviews have stated the doctor was kind and thorough but I have experienced several issues with the “office management”. The most up to date issue is due to an appointment cancellation on my behalf. The office management stated they have implemented a new rule in regards to the cancellation of appointments. If you cancel an appointment for any reason you cannot receive another appointment until two to three months out. In other words this is a form of “punishment” to the patient so they deter from cancelling appointments in the future. This rule is unacceptable, especially because this is dependent on someone’s health needs. I then called back and said if I couldn’t receive an appointment for early next month then I’d find another doctor. I was then told “they were doing us a favor anyway because we didn’t have any medical insurance”. Although this statement was false it was appalling that you would discriminate against someone who possibly does not have access to health insurance. I am not quite sure how this is a favor because it is an out of pocket expense on the patients end. I’d like to sum all of this up by saying this is unacceptable behavior from a doctor’s office. Withholding treatment is inexcusable...

I had gotten extremely sick, 104 fever, didn't eat for over a week, stomach bloated. I am thin and looked 6 months pregnant. I went to hospital, they ran tests and there was nothing they could find and didn't know what could be. I got sick, bile & black water came out. Dr. Sultan came in and said I think you're appendix burst. In the surgery room he said I'm going to make a small cut and take a look in your stomach. I replied: "I don't care if you make zig zags!!"

The Doctor is good but his wife is the problem. I've never had such an experience at a Dr.'s office before. She is very agitated, creates confrontations and does not permit a discussion between Dr. and patient without interfering. He obviously doesn't have the leadership ability to contain her for it wouldn't be happening in the first place. He condones the behavior. When I related my experience to the Dr. who referred me to him it wasn't surprising to him. Other patients have had similar experiences. In the sauna at my gym another person who goes to him for the same reason I went said the same thing I was saying about that woman....
