Game Hunters — Local services in Jersey Village

I’ve been to this store multiple times, and every single time that I’ve been, I was not impressed with the customer service. I was overly kind to them every time and they took my kindness for weakness. Once I was stern, yet respectful, I received the treatment that I should have received. The first time I went, they essentially lied to me saying they weren’t buying at the time because they didn’t have enough money when they had business earlier in the day. They told me to come back another day. They do buy things you’re selling, but they’re never really trying to. They ask if you prefer trading. The buyer also will nitpick petty things in a rude way as a way of trying to haggle more. The offers are way too low. They do not have AC or any counter space to present what you’re selling. Although I do appreciate that they actually do resale and offer cash when push comes to shove, the experience is simply not worth it. I give them 4 stars because I figure they’re at least better than Game Stop which would be the average of 3 stars, but there’s room for improvement as I mentioned. The man in the store was literally so nice! I needed a new copy of brawl. I bought it for an extremely reasonable price. After this, I went to another store to buff the disc. At the OTHER store it was awful. When everything was finally fixed at the other store I was a wreck. I came back to test (at game hunters) the disc and they were still helpful and kind to me. I went on the first day as soon as they opened and they've got some really good stuff. They have a bunch of pokemon and yu-gi-oh cards and even more vintage games. They stock is somewhat limited right now, but the owner assured me that they will be expanding their stock. Can't wait to see how their business goes....
