My daughter and I love this place, we go quite often. Last night was an event after 5. A make a deal with the dealer event. My daughter received the invite, so we made plans to meet there. I drove from Tomball and she drove from Houston. We were told when we walked in the door how it worked, being our first time to this event. The Lady explained that the Dealers of each area were all around the shop and when we found something we wanted to haggle on they would find the correct dealer. This was supposed to be a fun make a deal with the dealer event. Right off the bat the second little area we went too, I was looking for a canning tool a type of strainer, a sieve. I didnât find exactly what I was looking for but found something close. The woman came I thought to make a deal ya know haggle with me, but instead told me what she would take, and when I asked her to go two dollars less she got offended. And quickly got an attitude. She reluctantly said ok to the two dollars less. Went to the next area, was told her merchandise was 10% off. So we kept walking cause we were there to make deals, we wouldnât have drove in the traffic for 10% off we can do that normal business hours. Then my daughter found another item that interested her, and the woman was found and she TOLD my daughter what she would take mind you this is a 13.00 item, she said 10.00 my daughter said would you take 8.00 she said NO, and took it out of my daughters hands. Rude and Nasty! Donât have an event called âMake a deal with the dealer.â When your dealers all have a nasty attitude. We ended up putting stuff down and my daughter got one item that the woman did make a good deal on. We love this shop and always walk out with bags full of treasures. This experience changed that now getting to meet these, rude dealers. Definitely wonât but from the two womenâs areaâs again. But wonât let two bad apples ruin the whole batch! Deal or NO DEAL! It...
Read moreOh my goodness this place was to die for! Something in my belly just said bust an illegal turn, here, just in front of Ace Hardware, LOL and I did. The size of the storefront is deceivingly modest, what's outside is strange and interesting. Enter this enchantment and every door opens another room. And in that room another door exposing yet another room filled with goodies; the trend continues many times over. After touring this amazing realm I thought my shopping had ended, until I was asked have you seen the courtyard? Well no caterpillar, Alice has not seen the courtyard, LOL. Jaw drops! Everything I needed for my creepy carnival Halloween display this year- everything amazing! So many treasures and unique finds. You'll feel like you're in wonderland as behind door after door is another unexpected, unimaginable and comprehensible experience. Welcome to weirdness, welcome to wonderland. Please come check this place out,...
Read moreI was extremely excited to visit this establishment. I drove all the way from Clear Lake area to meet my friend here. We were just getting into looking at items, but my friend had to use the bathroom. We were told that there were no public restrooms and that we should go down the street. Honestly, the vibe just felt off following hearing no public restrooms. Iâm praying that was the case and not for the fact that we are people of color. This completely ruined my shopping experience at this establishment. We immediately removed ourselves from the establishment. Please, make sure you attend to nature calls before entering this establishment!!! However, if you are in the area I would recommend you visit Champions Mart. The customer service immaculate and didnât make us feel like we were not welcome like at Vintage Gifts...
