Worst customer service ever plus loud music and room too cold. I give a zero(0) rating!!!
I was told on the phone that they do not charge the extra 15% tip(service fee) by one of the 2 brothers. I did not ask his name when I called.
We went to eat at the tandoori kabob house today and they charged us the extra 15% fee in my bill. This was my first time going with my family. I never went with a group of people.
The brother at the register was extremely disrespectful towards me. His mother forgot to teach him how to respect a sister/woman.
When I asked him why there is a 15% extra fee on top of the tax? He told me "it is a rule and you have to pay." I told him that I called and one of the brothers told me "we do not charge the tip( extra 15% fee)."
Upon hearing this, he became very defensive and disrespectful. He said, "you guys are cheap."
He also accused me of doing this before. Like I said I have never been to this restaurant with a group of people before. This was my first time with siblings.
I told the brother I called and I was told on the phone that you guys don't charge the extra fee and I was never here before with a group.
He got angry and told me I was lying and he is the only one who is there.
Actually there are 2 brothers that are normally there. I know this because we often pick up food (to go) from this restaurant (tandoori kabob house).
This brother lied to me that he is the only one there, he accused me of doing this before where I did not want to pay the tip, he called me a LIAR, he also REFUSED to serve me in the future. He called us "CHEAP".
Tell me who is cheap... when I asked for a jug of water, he said, they don't have a jug of water. Only water bottle for purchase. How cheap is this!! It is a sunnah to serve the water to anyone who comes to your place. It doesn't matter if it is a business or home.
Brother, I want to remind you what you did to us is all recorded by Allah and his angels. There is a day of judgment. And InshaAllah there will be NO BARAQAH in your business. Aameen ya Rabbal aalameen.
This is not just about the extra 15% fee. It is about the accusation, calling us names like "cheap" and "liar".😓 And also threatening us that you will not serve me in the future. I felt threatened as I was alone at the counter to pay my bill.
You were ready to hit me and then my brother came to the counter to protect me. You started talking to him politely so you don't get in trouble. I should have called the police but we didn't want to ruin our day!!
Allah saw everything and there is a day of judgment! Jazakallahu khairan for calling me names, threatening me, accusing me, because I will get all your good deeds InshaAllah. Aameen ya rabb!!!
InshaAllah I will never visit Tandoori Kabob House again. And Allah will hold you accountable for all your actions and name calling plus threatening me on the day of judgment. Your mother forgot to teach you how to respect your customers specially sisters.
Allah is Al Adl. Allah has witnessed everything. InshaAllah Allah will remove the Baraqah from your business. Aameen!!
This is better than calling police.🙂 Next time when you threaten someone, accuse them, and call names, remember this. Allah is watching you. And there is a day of judgment InshaAllah. Allah is Al Adl.
Food quality and taste was ok. Price has gone up and meat size has been reduced to smaller portions. They will add tons of rice to make...
Read moreLast night, we were looking for something different. We saw the Tandoori Kabob House on FM 1960, not far from Jones Road.
First, the food was amazing! They brought us a salad before we'd ordered an appetizer. It was simple, but with a nice vinaigrette and a little container of extra sauce that was a little spicy, to add if we wanted.
We ordered Mantoo as an appetizer. They are beef dumplings with sauce. It was really good! It's available as an appetizer or an entree.
I ordered the Tandoori chicken with rice. It was very flavorful, and the meat was tender. It was more than enough to eat. A little on the spicy side, but alternating it with Naan with yogurt sauce helped. My husband had the Quabilli Pallow, which was a very flavorful, falling-off-the-bone lamb shank, covered in basmati brown rice. The Naan was fluffy and soft, unlike most Indian Naan. We had homemade ice cream for dessert.
Second, this restaurant serves Afghanistan food. The lady who seemed to be in charge is from Kabul. She came to the U.S. 7 months ago, when Biden pulled all the US military out of Afghanistan and the Afghanis fled the Taliban.
I regret I didn't get more photos, but we were hungry and the food was delicious! I didn't remember to get a photo until I was boxing up my leftovers.
We'll...
Read moreEverything about this place is amazing!!! Honestly, my husband and I are obsessed and order from here whenever we can. Whether it’s through Uber Eats or pickup, we have enjoyed so many delicious items. It’s a bit of a drive for us so one time, when we got the restaurant to pickup our takeout order, we asked if we could start eating at the restaurant. Not only did the server bring out our takeout boxes, but also gave us plates and cutlery and a complimentary salad! It was very kind of them to do so considering we had ordered takeout but they still gave us a pleasant dining experience. I can’t recommend this place enough. May Allah SWT grant the restaurant, owners, and staff a ton of barakah and success!!!! All the food items we’ve tried are delicious! The bolani is amazing and the borani badenjan is exceptional! My husband is a huge fan of the quabli pulao and firni dessert. I’ve also enjoyed the chicken curry, chicken kabob, and chicken korma challow. Additionally, the mast e khiar, naan, and lentil soup were also excellent!!! 10/10 would recommend and 10/10 will continue to eat...
