Global Supermarket Middle Eastern and Asian Grocery — Local services in Johns Creek

Unfortunately this place has a bad reputation in selling out dated & expired food items which could be very dangerous & hazardous plus some of the products they sell aren’t even marked with expiration date!! Yesterday we purchased few items & one of them was a box of baamia which is a type of sweet desert & it did not have any expiration date on the box & I asked the middle age cashier gentleman about the freshness of it & he assured me that they are fresh& in fact they get new shipment every week!! We took his words for it & took off to Texas & about 100 miles outside Atlanta we opened it up & ate one but O’boy it was so old & dry & tasted so bad & even one small bite made us sick& we trashed the whole box right away!!! I wonder how come alpharetta’s health department doesn’t inspect this stor & check all items expiration dates?!!! Some other customers have also had the same bad experience with global market ! Loved my impromptu visit to this supermarket! I initially went in because I was looking for toiletries (I enjoy trying different toothpaste, lotions, hair products, etc from different parts of the world) but realized that they only sell groceries. They had so many different types of condiments, teas, foods, snacks that I spent a considerable amount of time walking the isles and googling. It’s a small store, but very neat and orderly. All items on the shelves were labeled, well stocked and accessible. The prices are reasonable. The owner was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. I’ve visited several ethnic markets in metro Atlanta over the years, but this by far is the friendliest. I didn’t feel out of place or that people were looking at me as if I didn’t belong there as I have experienced in other markets. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely shop there again! Clean, Fresh, and So Friendly – Love Global Grocery!

Global has an amazing variety of Mediterranean and international products. The moment you walk in, you notice how clean and well-organized everything is—no dusty shelves or expired items here!

One of my favorite things is their fresh Persian pastries that arrive daily. The flaky, honey-drenched baklava and buttery, rosewater-scented cookies are absolute must-tries!

The produce is always fresh too, and I love that I can find unique ingredients I can't get elsewhere. But what really makes Global special is the people. The staff is so friendly and helpful, always greeting you with a smile and happy to answer questions.

If you're looking for a grocery store with great quality, a warm atmosphere, and fantastic customer service (plus incredible pastries!), Global is the place to go. Highly recommend! 🌿💛
