Went to the bakery to pick up some rolls and other odse and ends time was 2nd shift while I enjoy there baked goods .I feel personally as an elderly woman is shopping QUICKER the better. Less crowd the most Better i am Md quick professional help is something to be grateful for HOWEVER I I had the opportunity tommeet the the bakery rep working I waiting for 12; minutes while she was on he phone having some type of argument who I can only assume her husband Boyfriend whatever. This young woman actually put her phone between her shoulder and ear while I placed a order for a cake next day. She mad comments under her breath to the caller on the phone. Making derogatory statements I was a whining old nag and the bakery worker would get rid of me ASAP to continue her unprofessional language she was using. When I asked politely to please refra!e from that LANGUAGES in from My of my 7 year old grandson
My hard and stern answer was Mind you're own business lady ,and if I wanted The cake to be decorated that I should ""shut up and leave and have a nice day!
I astonished I cried I'm my car wanted to confront this woman but I decided to leave and find a new place to lshop where I could get common respect. She had her badge covered but I can tell from the speaker phone conversation her name was. Jack or Jacky.
I would now ask the she does not lose employment Inut perhaps only to go through trainings on customer service and respect trainings and seminar as well as there is a time and place to have you phone calls..while working and taking orders and services ARE not the time nor place to be having family swabbing while at work.
Feeling Disrespected in market basket.
Hopefully some thig can be said to someone To...
Read moreDuring my visit on June 1st, 2025, around 11:45 AM, I was ready to check out when I realized my phone had died, and I had accidentally left my card in the car. I let the cashier know and explained that I would be able to pay for part of my groceries now and come back to pay for the rest. I asked where the remaining items would be held, and the cashier told me they would be in the front, which I appreciated. I went outside to charge my phone and retrieve my card.
When I returned, I went to the customer service desk at the front of the store. The gentleman working there was extremely helpful and patient — he truly did his best and should be recognized for his kindness. He explained that he could only complete produce transactions and suggested I go to the other customer service counter where the rest of my items would be.
Before he helped me, he even attempted to reach out to the manager to explain the situation. To my surprise, he told me she was outside during peak store hours. He offered to go outside and find her, but came back unable to locate her. Because she was not present, he ended up having to figure out the transaction himself. None of this was his fault — he was simply doing what he could, but clearly lacked support.
This is where I began to feel the store was not only disorganized, but lacked proper communication and leadership.
I then went to the other side of the store where the remaining groceries were being held. I was not greeted or instructed on what to do — someone simply pointed at my cart, and that was it. Still unsure of the process, I realized I had forgotten to grab milk for my child. I quickly went to the aisle to get it before jumping into the long line of...
Read moreI am writing this review on behalf of my father who did not have a good experience at this MB. This happened on March 23rd at around 12PM-12:30PM where he had just had had foot surgery and was on crutches. He went with my brother and he dropped him off at the main entrance so he could get the mobility scooter as my brother went to go park the car. Unfortunately, he had to go halfway through the store in crutches near the cashiers to even reach the scooter. I believe the scooter should be more easily accessible to those who are disabled and/or require it. Moreover, the area was completely wet. There were some wet floor signs on only one side but the whole area was wet and since he could not tell which area was safe he consequently slipped and fell. Customers aided to him before the workers even reached me. He is still in his 50's but imagine if it was someone more elderly? They could have seriously injured themselves. I would also like to point out the sheer negligence of the staff at that time who did not appropriately attend to him. The manager and supervisor, rather than apologizing and ensuring that he was well, started to argue with him and give excuses on why the floors were wet. They claimed that they could not keep up with the cleaning, but I believe that that should be the priority as it was busy and many people could easily slip and injure themselves on the wet floors. I believe that the manager and supervisor with 17 and 8 years of experience respectively should be aware of the consequences of wet floors and should properly ensure that the floors are not a safety hazard for the customers. Really unprofessional and rude of the supervisors for not behaving...
