The store has FINALLY put their coupons automatically into their register system. Why else would someone be there for that item unless they got the email? My folks go there regularly for all of the odds and ends needed around the house. I have purchased suet and bird seed there most recently. They have a "crazy deal" promotion on products where if you buy what you would ordinarily by, there is a deal where you get spendable cash on a card for 50-100% of the value of what you just purchased. My sister buys art supplies there. She can find pre-stretched canvases, quality pain brushes, and all types of pain there. My brother-in-law likes the wool rugs, and designer plates and dishes that will come through. Once the store sells out of anything, there will be no more. If you see it and like it, but it - it won't be there the next time. Dog food changes weekly, but the brands are excellent, and for half thebprice you would buy elsewhere. They yarn selection is not the greatest, but you can find something good at half price every time you go. There are toys for kids, hardware for the garage and house, and an interesting clothing section to pick through. I always find at least one thing I like for under $7. The soaps, laundry detergent, kitchen tools, and small appliances are great. They have name brand soaps to deodorant. There is a small section of fine triple milled French soap. I look through this every time for the scents I like. One bar of this lasts because it doesn't melt in the shower like other brands. If you are a reader, there are books ranking from crosswords and Sudoku to the Duck Dynasty trilogy set that can be bought to read. There are teen and children's titles as well. Take your time to dig, there are many genre of book there. In the various holiday seasons, you will find decor for that season there. If you bake cookies, or like organic Red Mills grains, there is a food section that is three isles deep, and a two isle kitchen cooking wares section. Makeup and beauty products can be found on the front wall. It is nearly the whole wall. There are more in the soap and hygiene isles. The prices are what you go to this store for. The products come and go, there is often a challenge in finding exactly what you hoped for, but there is always something similar. I like to call it the indoor flea market - it is fun to go fir what you KNOW will be there because it was advertised, but walking around to see what else is there is aways fun, and may...

I love Ocean State Job lot. Sometimes I go there not even needing anything and just walk around in fine stuff that I want or need. They have everything from crazy food items to assorted tools. I'll typically go to Ocean State Job Lot before I hit another store and see if they have it first. If ever I have to do something like painting or work in the yard I usually hit there first for paint supplies or rakes and shovels. It's not always the best quality but if I'm only looking to get a season or two out of it then I'll buy it there first. They do have some brand name items in there also. They're actually really good for seasonal items like pool supplies or snow shovels or Christmas items also. They actually do have a pretty good section for food I mean it's things I've never seen before but I'll try it out here in there. What's nice is they're all over the place too so you're never too far away from one. Typically you can get in and out pretty fast too. It's pretty funny they even have a little bit of clothing in there. I'm not sure I'd buy my air conditioner in there but I'd certainly buy my fans in there. I bought quite a bit of stuff here yesterday. One small item was missing and I had paid for it. It was a dog bandana that repelled insects supposedly, and it had 2 little packs you could freeze and slip in the sides. I called the store this morning, hoping that they didn't put it back on the shelf yet as they had all kinds of small & med. That was the only large they had. Well, the rude young female who answered the phone said "come back with your receipt and we'll look at the film and see where it went" Click! No is there anything else I can help you with?
