My favorite place for meat, and as it's only a few blocks from my house, I tend to run there for a lot of last minute things, too. They have everything I need, some prices may be a little higher but worth the convenience. The guys working the deli counter are fantastic and always get my order perfect, even when I have to request thicker slices, etc. And I very much prefer buying ground beef/chuck from the display rather than prepackaged as I know it's fresh and I feel that it is better quality. I shop here probably once a week, sometimes more. Because of the convenience, I like to purchase only what I need for a certain meal or meals for a few days at a time. Cant get better cuts of meat anywhere else! Friendly, happy to answer questions, and also have a variety of items needed to prepare/cook your meal! My husband found this gem of a place and I am so glad. A REAL BUTCHER still in business. Their meat quality is unmatched, and they carry the types of meat we need for a variety of specific dishes that we have a hard time finding anywhere else. Their prices are not outrageous and they will special order/cut things how you need them. The butchers also have a professionalism that you don't find at your chain grocery store.
