I can't say enough good things about Lysa's gift of bringing damaged treasures back to their original condition. As you will see in the pictures, my cardinal candle holder is beautiful, but one of the holly branches was broken off and some of the paint needed to be touched up. The repair of the branch is seamless and the color of the paint touched up matches perfectly. She even touched up all of the berries. It is beautiful. As for my New York City skyline, I had broken off the torch on the Statue of Liberty. The arm and torch are tiny and I didn't think it was even possible to reattach the torch. I am truly amazed at what Lysa was able to do. As with my cardinal candle holder, even I know where it was broken and yet I can't even see any indication that it was ever broken. We searched for weeks to find someone who would fix a mirror that was broken on a job that we were on and finally came to Antique Restoration & Design. Mike is not a restorer of antique furniture but rather a miracle worker. This particular mirror had puzzled everyone we called because of the segments around the main mirror as well as the micro bevel that we were “assured” was no longer possible to replicate. We were originally told it would take 6 weeks to complete but they were done earlier than expected. The mirror is FLAWLESS.
