Augusta Bridal — Local services in Joplin

Yesterday I truly had an experience of a lifetime. After my first bridal appointment at a different bridal shop I was extremely nervous going into this appointment. I wanted to find a shop that really that really was bride focused and was all about customer service and experience as I work in hospitality. I booked the NYC bridal appointment for myself and brought my mom, future MIL, and sister. Let me tell you Sydney took that experience to the next level. She called in advance to get an idea of what my preferences was, took me around and let me choose dresses but also helped me have a vision for each one of the gowns since I tend to get very detail blind. She was very attentive and never far from earshot if I needed anything during getting changed from dress to dress. She offered endless options and solutions to make sure that my dress was absolutely perfect. I lost count in how many dresses I tried on and honestly thought I had found the one. Until that angel Sydney brought me two dresses that she thought may just be it even though they weren’t 100% in line with the criteria that I had been trying on previously. (In no way a pushy way trying to get me to try on a new vibe or anything) but let me tell you I fell in LOVE with one of the gowns she picked out. I teared up at the sight of it on me. Now even though the shop was nearing closing time, and we’d been there for hours. Sydney reassured me that I can take my time, try on my other #1 dress and really see myself in both of my favorites so I could make a calm, and confident decision. After being contacted by one of the Prom Ambassadors for Augusta Prom and getting the chance to meet Taylor, I was so honored to be chosen as the photographer for their upcoming project! Though I personally did not try on or find myself in a dress from the formal/prom portion or the Bridal collections, I do want to mention how beautiful they are. While photographing the dresses, I felt the fabric types and witnessed first hand the high-quality materials of those dresses present. Each dress photographed so well, the colors, beading and even down to the tiniest stitching was stunning. The ambassadors who I had the chance to work with personally, as well as some of the sweet girls I met at the store were very respectful and positive. Each team member was very knowledgeable about the dress compositions, confident in the dresses they wore and undoubtedly valued by Taylor. The way you feel like a family member after your time together is a wonderful thing, and having a group of ladies so supportive of you is greatness in itself. The selection of styles, color shades, and even size ranges is mind-blowing. Honestly, I wish I would have had the chance to work with these girls and have this type of experience when I was looking for prom dresses in high school! I loved my experience with Augusta's team and I 100% can't wait to work...

I took my future daughter in law into this store in hopes to find her perfect wedding dress. We were told to pick 7-8 dresses and we would start trying them on. We finally found maybe 7 dresses and headed back to the seating area. The attendant then asked who wanted to help her in and out of the dresses... I thought this was their job. I said I could help her hoping she didn't feel too uncomfortable with me seeing her half naked. The robe they provided didn't fit. The first dress we tried to get her into we couldn't even get it pulled up. How disappointing for a future bride. I asked the attendent to check sizes because nothing is more disappointing then trying to put on a dress and its too small. I could see the smile fade from her face as we went on.
